Outstanding hospitality and impeccable service. Beautiful room, clean and well equipped. Half board is both delicious and convenient. Kind manager upgrade me to a suite for one night when I return from a road trip.

We were at Grand Dragon Sept 23-30’25, week when Leh saw biggest protest and life loss and curfew following all the unrest. We are glad we made it to Grand Dragon as being cooped up in the hotel, we were able to still spend time comfortably with low risk. Special shout out to few people who made our stay extremely easy given we could not go out : - Deshraj Punia the head chef , not just the food, spread at breakfast buffet but his personal attention to each table was unique . He made sure we tried different dishes as he discussed them with us. He was there covering Dosa counter, omelette counter , walking the dining room, sending Gajar halwa, beetroot halwa etc our way. Highlight for us was the Roganjosh and Lahsuni saag by his Kashmiri and Uttarakhand chefs - Rajiv, Hossian and Rajat From coffee to hot rotis, puris, to recommending us to try Mutton momo to getting us latest outside news , you 3 made it again very easy for us to spend the 6 days at the hotel. Hotel is clean, has decent spa (I did give in and go for massage while waiting out the curfew) If I am back in Leh, Grand Dragon If you stay at this hotel, take a note of the paintings around and ask for who is Mostafa and may be you can meet the artist. A minor note -they do not serve alcohol in the restaurant . If you are someone looking for beer or wine .

exceptional service and food, spacious room

The room, the food, the market was close, the playroom, the super mart was near, the iconic locations were only 15 or 20min away, the staff was sweet, food was yummy and non-spicy. And best of all was was the italian and chocolate dosa. I recommend you to do one thing, put chocolate dosa on the menu because kid's will like it a lot.

Got bored of food in 1 or 2 days as it was a long stay otherwise.

Everything is very good. Staff are excellent by being very friendly and helpful.

A very minor thing, but if the TV in my room was Android based, I'd be able to cast my tablet to it and watch stuff without having to sign in etc. Not a real issue and certainly not one that would prevent me from returning to this hotel. Male massage would have been nice as well after travelling a long way to get here.

The hospitality was exceptional……the tone is set right at the top by the owner Mr. Danish ……what a wonderful gentleman and a host. Every member of the staff took personal care of us…..Mr. Anoop and Shafeeq at the reception/ front desk were absolutely stellar with their hospitality and timely advice. Shafeeq regaled us with beautiful insights of his experience in the region. A huge thanks to Mr. Ramzan for stitching together a wonderful itinerary given the weather related restrictions around the time we visited. Arif……the guy who drove us around was simply fantastic……such a humble wonderful person and an expert driver navigating the treacherous terrains of Ladakh….. Last but not the least, the staff at the restaurant (Zasgyrath) were very friendly and always up for a nice banter. A big shout out to Tara, Sunil, Arun for their hospitality. The management is conscious of the environmental impact and has already taken serious actions to curb / mitigate the impact on the environment given that Ladakh’s delicate ecosystem. The bottling plant that serves the guests with pure filtered water in sealed glass bottles. This is an absolute winner and encourage the management to push for more such initiatives. I would strongly recommend guests to stay at the Grand Dragon just for the incredible hospitality.

Perhaps a bar at the location would be nice.

Incredibly kind and friendly staff, specially at the reception desk. Every detail is taken care of, from the welcome tea and cookies, to the temperature of the rooms, the amazing breakfast with all you can hope for, the interior design and decorations to the restaurant and everything else in between. Plus the views are amazing from all angles. Would love to have had a longer stay here.

The airport drop and pickup should've been complementary. Rs 1000/- for a drop off of 7 mins is outrageous. We weren't picked up by the hotel when we landed at Leh. There was little to no communication on arranging the pickup from the hotels's side. This could've been handled in a better way.

Heating in my room wasn’t working and maintenance guys checked twice and told us its gonna work now but after 15-20mins it was same issue so we gave up to keep calling them but everything else was perfect..

Staff professionalism and friendliness - all of them!. Luxury room deco and amenities. Amazing views. close to market. Great buffet variety.

Technically not a 5 star property. No pool, no bar facility and alcohol available, which really should be mentioned on their details page as this could be a deal breaker for many foreign tourists.
