Overall quality of service was very good - warm, welcoming, friendly, efficient, Food quality at Oudhyana was excellent.

The food quality at the Sahib Restaurant (where we had dinner & breakfast) was variable. SLA for all hotel staff: Given the regular health scares these days, the management need to mandate that your staff who are unwell, to commit to proactively informing management and also taking proactive steps to minimise the risk of infecting colleagues, guests, visitors. Eg, if one of your housekeeping or restaurant or check-in staff has a cold/ flu, he / she should not only medicate, but wear a mask all the time and inform his/ her line manager about the health issue. and this must be recorded on your internal systems in some simple way, just in case the information is needed in the future.

Unfortunately, even after several phone calls, no solution was offered. Only at check-out was I asked why I hadn’t reported the issue — they said they would have offered me another room. It seems the staff were poorly instructed in this regard. A pity. As an addition: the nighttime noise occurred on two out of the three nights I stayed there.

We liked staff behaviour than any other thing.

We didn't like food. I booked dinner and breakfast with my stay but horrible taste. Unexpected worst food in Taj Mahal Lucknow.Breakfast was little better than the dinner.08/08/2025 was my wife birth day date so I thought Taj would be best, but still we both are shoked that how Taj can serve this worst dinner. Earlier we planned to extend our booking for next 4 days but after dinner we shifted to Novotel and yes we are highly satisfied with food and accommodation both here in Novotel.Just due to food , I will not recommend Taj Mahal Lucknow.

Taj in general wonderful hotels to stay in, I ve never get disappointed on staying at taj hotels, incredibly welcoming pure Indian hospitality and staff are always there to help you about anybody you need with a big smile on their face 7/24. Whenever and wherever I am in Taj I feel very welcomed and extremely safe. Unlike other 5 stars hotels staff are not overly acting to get good tip. Also I had 2 diners at the restaurant in hotel called oudhyana, amazing! Still remember their amazing food , big big thank 🙏🏼 also I think Lucknow is very underestimated city however there are a lot to visit with a deep historical background ! I ll definitely go back to this city and again stay at Taj Mahal 🤍

I loved the big rooms and ammenities. The staff were super helpful, Ayesha and Shantanu from the helpdesk, our drivers Prince en Tajamul were exceptional. They knew a lot about the history, things to do or see or to eat and they provided us with a lot of tips and knowledge. The hotel itself is gorgeous as well with the staff receiving you warmly, in the morning there is a flutist playing as you get your breakfast and in the evening you can lounge by the pool. It is close enough to everything in Lucknow but also a bit secluded so you can get the rest you need after a long day.

Located close to the gomti river and Lohia park, it’s a lovely property. The breakfast offers a wide choice of items including live counters. Staff is very courteous and attentive

They should have an alternate lady massage therapist when one goes on leave. This is the second time I was told that therapist was unavailable. Also they could upgrade the salon area.

We had arrived a bit early around 08:00 AM and they let us check in without much fuss. Breakfast was excellent and staff were quite willing to help - we wanted crispy dosa and we got that. Choices available for breakfast is also excellent. We had an issue with the taxi that we had arranged from a local company. It was an unsafe vehilce and we asked them to drop us back to the hotel. Hotel staff went out of their way and though all their own vehicles were unavailable they arranged one from their supplier in no time. Want to thank Ms. Ayesha for going out of her way in arranging this so speedily. We had already checked out and there was no compulsion on them to arrange something for us. The attitude of the staff at gate, reception and concierge just makes one realise how Taj excels in customer care.

Wish we had a better view of the lawn from our room. As we had arrived early and wanted to move in quickly they provided us with what was available. I am not saying this as a criticism but I hope next time when we visit we can get a room that lets us enjoy the beautiful garden and lawns.

Taj is the only hotel worth staying in Lucknow. The entire team is wonderful & well trained. Shubham in the restaurant is always a big help and a lifesaver. The entire team at the front desk is also very efficient.

They should open another restaurant and expand F&B program tap into culinary strength of Lucknow. Response time during rush hours needs improvement.

We loved staying with you , there was a gentleness about your hotel . We want to thank Ayesha and Bhagot at the travel desk for all their help and patience they were incredible!!! We took a driver and car from your hotel his name was Amit , a big thankyou to him as well. Great service everywhere . Would definitely recommend this hotel 😃
