Probably one of the best stays I’ve had so far. We did initially follow Google maps and get lost, and it just seemed impossible to find the location, so the resort sent down a car to help us out. On reaching the location, we had a great welcome and a smooth check in. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, there’s WiFi access throughout the entire property, the indoor games and swimming pool, make it worth spending a day just within the resort itself. The staff went out of their way to make our stay one to remember. One of the driver staff there, offered to wash our car for us, since we’d gotten stuck in sludge the day before and had gotten mud all over the car. Another one drove all the way up to our room, just to deliver a Swiggy order. The food at the restaurant was lovely, so much so we ordered dinner from just there throughout our stay. We all enjoyed our stay here, I’ve already recommended this place to my friends. Will definitely be coming back here on my next visit to Wayanad.

We recently stayed at “The Hive”, Wayanad, for six nights. The overall experience has been very good. It’s a beautiful place for a vacation, especially if you are looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the cities and to unwind. The property is located in the middle of a coffee trail, very picturesque, surrounded by thick forests all around. If you are a nature lover and looking for some relaxed time, this is a great place to be to enjoy the serene and peaceful surroundings. It was an amazing feeling to wake up each morning to the cooing of birds and a fresh breath of air.  All the accommodations are beautifully built on the stilts on the slopes and give a great view of the surroundings. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and quite modern, with all basic amenities. All the villas have independent balconies with the garden/forest views, and one can sit for hours watching the nature. The bathroom is well equipped, very clean, with separate shower cubicles, and has a round-the-clock hot water facility since Wayanad can get quite cold during winter months. The housekeeping team was prompt and did a great job each day. A special mention about Shamas from the team for his great attitude.  Breakfast spread was quite decent, (dosas can be better) and the restaurant serves good food overall, always willing to customise to your requirements. Since we chose to have all three meals for all six days at their restaurant, it was important that they offered us a good spread. Luckily, we were really pampered and very well looked after by the restaurant team, especially Anisha, Sushmita, and Reuben, throughout our stay, which was probably the highlight of our stay.

Areas of improvement: 1) Being a property with winding and uphill roads, it will be good to have “buggy” facilities instead of a car taking the guests up and down. 2) Senior citizens and guests with disabilities might have a problem, as neither the villas nor the restaurant has wheelchair access. 3)The involvement of senior management appeared nonexistent, with zero customer interaction, despite being a guest for six nights. Unlike in most resorts we stayed, the GM didn’t appear customer friendly to any guests, let alone us.

The resort is the best for quite and beautiful stay. The overall hospitality was top-notch — the team made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. The rooms were clean, cozy with balcony overlooking to greenery. Though the internal resort roads are steep, they made sure to enquire if we have any senior citizens with us to ensure if we need adjacent rooms to restaurant. They do have few sessions like cookery, tea tasting etc that guest can enjoy. Overall resort is great for perfect staycation to relax and enjoy. However, it do not have a lot of activities that guest can enjoy within the resort apart from pool and indoor games.

The ambience is awesome , very nicely created amid lush green plantations wid so much of color giving a visual treat and an amazing experience given the pleasant weather here. Also the food was out of the world . The staff is really supportive and go out of the way to help u. Special mention to Ranjitha,anisha, jitu allen and the manager and the chef too. Thanks . Kids size portions not available, this can lead to food wastage when ordering from the a la carte menu. Bonfire did not happen despite it being part of the daily activites.

It was a beautiful stay with amazing staff around, very cooperative and assisted well for all the questions asked.

The activity area, they should have maintained the condition of the board games.
