What did I like? Everything! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff, setting the tone for a truly special experience. Sitting down at the restaurant, we were cared for by some of the most attentive waiters I’ve encountered in all my travels. Their hospitality was genuine and flawless—and the food? Simply magnificent. This is the kind of place that invites you to slow down and breathe. Surrounded by serene beauty and rich history, it’s nestled in some of the most breathtaking nature we witnessed during our journey through India. If you're looking to escape the noise and bustle of the larger cities, this is the perfect retreat. The rooms are truly lovely—thoughtfully designed with timeless, tasteful decor that made us feel right at home. And don’t miss the nearby town of Delaware. Visiting it gave us a peaceful, authentic glimpse into rural India, all at a comfortable and unhurried pace.

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel.

My suite was wonderful, it was massive with a separate mirror sitting room (like sheesh mahal) and 2 balconies and a super large bathroom! The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant was amazing and a lot of the ingredients were grown locally at the property. The spa was also good and the kids have large gardens and a hoot pool to play in. Tortoise feeding was fun! We had 3 rooms all of which were great and unique. Good place to spend 2-3 nights with a bunch of temples and lakes to visit nearby.

Probably the fact that the property has challenges for people with mobility issues. Lots of really steep staircases and the lifts were rickety!

The RAAS is an incredible hotel. We loved our three nights here, and would have definitely stayed longer if we could have. Despite being one of the cheapest, our room was massive and beautifully designed. The pool area is just perfect and so relaxing. And the main hotel is something else ...make sure you take the guided tour! The food in the restaurant was always delicious and the staff were always attentive and polite. No notes ...just book it!

If you want to experience living like a royalty in a palace, this is the place! We’ve been to many hotels but this one is very special. It’s the most peaceful and private hotel we have ever stayed at. Wherever we go we have the amazing view to ourselves. The services provided here are also unmatched.

The property is located in a remote location so it’s hard to go out. There’s plenty of things to do in the hotel itself but some of them can be costly.

An exceptional hotel with an outstanding service. We visited multiple hotels in India in this price category but this one is our favorite. You can feel the palace vibes in every corner as the team puts a lot of attention into details. However, besides the outstanding atmosphere, the service quality will stay in our memories for a long time. Go and try the yoga class they offer every morning!

Beautiful view, top notch facilities, friendly staff, esp Laana who greeted and guided us through the room and palace so well, comfort at its best.

All was great, except towards the end, one of the staff at the reception (forgot to ask for his name) while requesting for checkout Billing and arranging for cab service came across as a little condescending and tended to a foreigner while keeping us waiting even though we had called in for a check out first. Regardless of personal biases, i believe staff at a 5 star facility should not come across as condescending. Although we stayed only for a day, our food and spa charges came up to the same price as our stay which we found a little too hard on our pocket and due to the location, an in house guest has but no other option that to have their food and take their cab as no other services are available anywhere nearby which leaves the guest helpless and bound to shell out extra bucks.

Its gorgeously restored property, very comfortable, sparkling clean, hospitable and the spa is equally incredible. Esp thanks to Kishore, Pura, Dr Nitya Ratan Singh for making our short stay very memorable. Definitely doing the RAAS Hopper soon !

Food and drinks could be bought further to the overall 5 star standard esp since guests only have the hotel as the choice

Raas Devigarh is perfection if you are looking for a relaxing 5 star experience stay away from the hustle and bustle of the City . The location in the hills is breathtaking. The Palace is spectacular. It has been impeccably restored, retaining the original character and granduire. The hotel including rooms, restaurants, bar, pool and grounds are beautiful and meticulously mantained. The service was amazing from the front desk staff, waiters, house-keeping, spa attendants and managers. The food was delicious with many local and international options. Wish we had stayed longer.

The setting of this fort is spectacular. The hotel is perched on a hill above a village. The landscape lighting turns the place into a bewilderingly magnificent site. The staff is fantastic, bending over backwards at every opportunity to make one's stay a luxurious experience.

The hotel is 27 km from Udaipur, which makes dining in town a bit of a challenge unless one stays in town for the day and evening. That said, the food at the hotel is sensational. The breakfast is fabulous.

The quality of the hotel for this price point is exceptional. The property itself is incredible - it's a 1760 palace/fort, which the stock photos really don't do justice. The service is impeccable and the standard of the rooms is very, very high. We had mainly been moving between cities and were extremely grateful of a serene stay in the hills at raas to unwind and shake off some of the hustle and bustle of the city.
