The facility was very clean, and the staff all very friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant offered lovely views of the tree covered hills and the restaurant cook, Chauhan cooked delicious food and catered to our requested spice level. The private parking was very handy and we felt safe leaving our car on the premises.

The shore is located up a steep incline. Although this walk only took less than ten minutes from the main road, it is a bit of a hike. Even physically healthy adults had to take a small break halfway up the hill.

Very good hotel in tapovan, rishikesh

Great location, off the main road so a little out of the thick of it with a 5-10 minute walk to the hub of everything. Staff were polite, friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. Room and whole premises was clean with a modern bathroom. Room was warm and cosy with a comfy bed. Wifi worked smoothly with no issues.

Struggled to get hot water for the shower. Pool doesn't look as clean and beautiful as the photos, plus the water was cold. Not the hotels fault but noise from outside was extremely loud at night with multiple dogs barking all night long just outside and building work ongoing until late at night just across the road.

The location is very good and close to all the good restaurants and shops. The breakfast was very tasty but there should have been more options for breakfast. The best thing is that the staff were always serving hot food. The ambience of having food at the terrace was excellent. I would love to come back to the same hotel in future.

The approach road to the hotel is very narrow

I enjoyed my 3 night stay here. Staff are helpful and polite, food was tasty and the room had a soft, comfy bed (just what was needed after spending too much time on hard mattresses!). Location is in a peaceful part of Tapovan.

The pool was not maintained as shown in images but I think that is because it must not get much use in winter. I swam anyway!

Love the staff. They took an effort to arrange a taxi for us. The food was good. The new year live music was great.

I had a great time at the hotel and the stay was comfortable. Room size was good with a nice wash room. The staff is also good and the food quality is excellent. Recommend the stay in the hotel always..The owner should keep the good things going.

Property was very clean, warm water, good location in upper Tapovan, short walk (sometimes uphill!) to shops, restaurants.

No card machine, so if you didn’t have a computer or smart phone payment would be difficult !

The staff was exceptionally friendly and making sure we had a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and fulfilled all of our needs. Also, the restaurant food was diverse, affordable, and very tasty! We can definetly recommend staying in "The Shore by Shivaya" when visiting Rishikesh!

The only discomfort was that shut down the property doors by midnight so can’t go out and come back to the property without disturbing and waking up the staff
