The staff were incredibly helpful and all round great people to be around and gave great advice on whats around and supported any needs. Also helping out with our uber driver trying to scam us for extra fees

I stayed at Joey's during my trip to Rishikesh, and it was hands down one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel completely at home — warm smiles, helpful advice, and genuine hospitality that’s hard to find these days. The location couldn’t be better — tucked away just enough to be peaceful, yet only a short walk from the Ganga, Laxman Jhula, and all the cafes and yoga studios. You can literally wake up to the sound of birds and end your day watching sunsets over the hills. The rooms and dorms are spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The beds are super comfortable (with privacy curtains and charging points!), and the bathrooms are cleaner than many hotels I’ve stayed in. What really makes this place special, though, is the community. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s a place to connect, share stories, and feel inspired. I came as a traveler and left as part of a family. If you’re coming to Rishikesh, stop searching and just book Joeys. You’ll find peace, fun, and a bit of magic here. ✨

I stayed at Joey’s Hostel Rishikesh and absolutely loved my experience here. The hostel has a really friendly atmosphere where you can easily meet new people, relax, and enjoy your time in Rishikesh. The café at the hostel was one of my favorite parts – the food was tasty, fresh, and had a good variety. It’s a perfect spot to chill, work, or just hang out with other travelers. I really like the vibes there, every time I go to Rishikesh I stop in Joey's hostel, it's a good way to meet people. I'm happy that most of the time I've met a good team. The staff is really nice and they will try to help you if you need. Thank you to Ankit, he is always smiling, and when I was a bit ill for a few days, he was thoughtful and asked me if I needed anything don't hesitate to ask him. Some of them seem a bit cold at first, but when you talk to them they're really nice. I like the location, it's in the middle between the Ganga and upper Tapovan. I tried different rooms, dorms and private rooms, I like some of them more than others, but in general it's good value for money. They also organize some activities

I had a spectacular stay at Joe’s Hostel as a solo traveler in the dormitory. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a perfect choice for backpackers and solo adventurers. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the staff—they went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. I was especially impressed by their honesty and care when they returned a trouser I had misplaced. Such gestures reflect the warmth and trustworthiness of the place. Additionally, the view from the terrace is breathtaking as well.

Joey's hostel has a well managed staff taking care of all your need during your stay. All praise to Devang for being such a caring host and Simran for being around, who made the stay look special. Got the chance to enjoy a lovely & tasty dinner prepared by Shyam & Deepak at the hostel's own kitchen which is on rooftop, and was organised for all guests. Loved the masala bhindi & palak paneer preparations 😋👌🏻. The hostel has a 24*7 service which makes it easier for travellers to check-in & check-out during late hours of night. The property is well located, with some good restaurants, eateries and coffee house all around the neighborhood. So if you are looking to explore Tapovan in Rishikesh, Joey's hostel is where you can start with 🍹🛵🪕🏞️

A small appreciation💕 for the family of Joey's 🫂thanks for making my trip unforgettable and very comfortable . This would be a memory i would cherish for my life✌️🫂 . Initially came accross to Joey's because of budget restrictions so I chose 8 bed dorm was little bit hesitant like how could they provide a stay at very nominal price but when I saw the room it was clean and every bed had proper clean curtains and bedsheets . The air conditioner was keeping the room chilled and very comfortable with it good air flow and bathrooms had proper flow of hot ♨️n cold water ❄️in showers. so facilities were good but what made it really special was Joey's staff aka the family and guest every one here made me feel "HOME" they all were having fun together noticing minute details guests need and even helping us by going out of their way ! i loved the secret water fall trek , Triveni ghat , the movies night with other fellow Voyagers . i know the review is quiet long but they deserve it .
