The inn is very clean everywhere; the owner is a family that lives upstairs, so it feels very homey. The mother made us feel so welcome, and she cooks so well! The inn locates near the river so it's very convenient to take a leisure strolls around to soak in the scenic view of the mountains. The best part about living here would be the driver friend of the inn, Muneer. What a beautiful and kind soul! Best ambassador of Kashmiri people! He's obsessed with cleanliness, so expect only the cleanest and shiniest car in the whole of Kashmir. He will also only drop you off at 'cleanliness-approved' restrooms while out on day trips. The virgo in me felt very safe and well taken care of!

The breakfast can be quite slow and repetitive at times, but otherwise there is nothing more to be unliked here at Ikraam Inn.

Interior is cozy, with wooden panels! Reminds me of Scandinavia. The owner Ilhamm is a legend that’s very easy to get along with and communicates really well in English and has a lot of knowledge of Kashmir and surrounding areas. He even joined me on a road trip to Ladakh, so from that experience I know that he really cares about his guests as well as his property. If you want to stay at a place in Srinagar where you can feel at home, then Ilhamm and his Ikraam Inn B&B is the perfect stay.

You could choose what you wanted for breakfast, and it was always homemade and delicious. We also had the option to order lunch and dinner, which were just as tasty and thoughtfully prepared. The hotel is located close to Zero Bridge. The area, like the rest of the city, is quite busy with traffic. The hotel owner, Mr. Ilham Husain Bhat, and his family took care of us in the kindest way—helping with sightseeing tips, arranging reliable taxis, and always being there when we needed anything. Mr. Bhat is a truly warm and helpful person, and his whole family made us feel like part of theirs. Staying at Hotel Ikraam Inn was a special experience for us, and we warmly recommend it to anyone visiting Srinagar.

This property is going to be my top choice for stay whenever I visit Srinagar. The Owner, Ilham is one gem of a person ! He takes personal interest in your stay and travel plans and offer valuable suggestion and help wherever required. Just to give an example, we forgot my father's medicine at a location nearly 15 kms away and Ilham without any second thoughts took me to that place at 12 at night and helped us. Not only that, Ilham recommended us a local travel agency that we booked for 3 days and they were equally good. Notably, the home cooked food is yummy and Ilham's mother came and personally spoke to us as to how we liked the food. She is a wonderful woman ! Overall a wonderful stay for us 4 families visiting Ikram Inn. Highly recommended.

If I had to mention, I would say, you will miss those early morning and late night room service, which of course can't be expected at a home stay. The helpers availability or the kitchen room service begins well after 8 - 8:30 in the morning. I would request Ilham to make tea and breakfast available by 7 at least.

Hosts: are really nice and very attentive. Food: food is very nice, homemade. Love the aloo paratha and kehwa. Rooms: were clean and well maintained. Especially the heating system works very well from the air conditioner. Location: is kind of convenient as you can walk about 200m and end up near zero bridge and you get auto to go anywhere. The only improvement they need is to replace the plastic electric kettles with metal ones. Due to that my Dad could not get hot water and make tea. But the hosts were nice enough to give him hot water and morning tea from the kitchen

Everything, randomly The warm welcome from the owner and family, The location and the surrounding environment, The bedroom beautifully conceived with walls out of wood, cupboard, sofa, small table, very comfortable bed (even with bedsheet, not always easy to find in Kashmir). Side night tables with lamps. Wifi perfect, AC, fan, TV Bathroom very clean and practical The possibilty to have meals from the garden they grow... The facilities all around...

This place is a family run business, Ilham, the owner and his mother, Mme Sweety, were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast was home made and delicious. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need to be comfortable including a mini fridge, tv, a kettle and heater for winter. The owners provided me with helpful tips to move around in touristic places and also in Srinagar. They were a blessing on my solo trip.

Good value for money. But leaving all that, it felt that i was staying with my family. Ilham and his family were amazing as a host. It was just by chance that i came across this gem. My other hotel was sold out. So just spent one night there. He helped me with my 3 day agenda, helped me with the cab and the predatory srinagar tourist pricing. But they were with me for the entire trip. My youngest son had food poisoning after having some street food, ilham came to our resucue at 1.00am and took us to the hospital. Please note that we had already checked out to my second hotel. He didn't have to do that. The day we left srinagar they served us tea. I'm definitely booking their rooms and only theirs the next time. I would rate the hospitality Taj x 10. Thank-you Thank-you Thank-you for everything.

For the price- nothing

The owner Ilham is really friendly and helpful. He personally came to show me my room upon check in and answered any queries I had about sightseeing in Srinagar. The room and bathroom were spotless and felt very fresh. There were lots of windows, so plenty of fresh air and sunshine. Attention to detail was given by providing bathroom slippers, a kettle and toiletries. What pleasantly surprised me the most was that the TV came with Netflix and Youtube, so I could comfortably catch up on all my shows in my room, at night. The location of the property is also excellent - within walking distance from grocery shops, a few restaurants and the main road from where you can take public transport.

The overall experience of the stay was wonderful. They don't the guests as outsiders but as part of an extended family. there is a personal touch in every thing . Be it staying, the breakfast, the way dinner is served . There is always an effort by Mr. Ilham to make you feel comfortable during the entire duration of the stay .

The power situation as such in Srinagar was disturbed during my visit but once again they ensured I don't face with my usual work on the laptop or even charging the Mobile . Excellent back up power facilities at the property.
