Great size room, easy walking distance to several temples, and access to Assi Ghat. Great value for money. Bed was very large and comfortable, liked the large table - good for using the laptop. Staff very helpful, owner's wife helped us to book a sunrise trip on the Ganges and arranged a car to take us to Sarnath as well. Both were great excursions.

Bathroom was a bit small, but had plenty of hot water. We would advise too that you negotiate the train station transfer cost before confirming with the hotel.

The choice of Hotel Rajyashtree Palace was based on the very good reviews on Booking and Tripadvisor. We can confirm these reviews for the hotel manager himself. Before the stay he was very helpful in organizing boat tours on the Ganges river. During our stay he showed us two temples as part of a city walk and helped us in any question we had, really pleasnat approach. The room photos posted online show a nicer picture compared to reality. Our room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable to sleep on. However, the housekeeping could be even better, you shouldn't look into the so-called "corners", for example greasy light switches. The room requires a refurbishment. The Hotel Rajyashtree Palace is located at a busy intersection, even late at night it is very noisy. Ear plugs don't help either. Sleep is out of the question before midnight.

Very helpful staff who were kind and attentive. Helped us organised multiple trips and offered a complimentary walking tour of local area. The trips they helped us book were much cheaper than those being shown on getyourguide etc, which shows they really go the extra mile to help their guests out. Ordered food to the room which was also very yummy. Only 10-15 minute walk to the Ghatts and lots of shops around. As the other reviews may mention, it is noisy outside as it’s a main road but that’s to expected, it’s India after all lol. Highly recommend to all tourists staying in Varanasi.

The staff was really friendly, asking every time if there is something we need. We were a bit shocked with Varanasi traffic on the first day and the host was really with calm manner and offered us water. Room is really okay according to Varanasi standards. Our room was a bit noisy but it is quite noisy everywhere in Varanasi. If you need to work then you should look for quieter places. But if you are just coming for a sleepover then just bring your earplugs. Otherwise clean and the bed was comfortable. There was also an extra thick blanket for cooler weather. When we needed something we just asked and got what we needed - new towels etc.

It was a really nice place close to the city centre and all the important monuments. The staff, including the owner, was very kind and helpful, tried to organize anything for us and helped whenever we needed it. Also small gestures like tea together when we were leaving or letting us stay a bit longer were really great. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean. Good price for a good accommodation

The room had a window from the street side so it was really noisy until around 10 PM. Also the pressure of hot water was not good and the toilet flush was dripping onto the floor.

Location is great. Nearby a variety of shops. Outstanding customer service. Very warm and welcoming. Staff go over and above their call of duty to make guests' stay as comfortable and smooth as practically possible. My particular thanks to Anand who is a remarkable gentleman. Ever since I booked to the moment I left, his communications were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay, intend to stay again and would highly recommend.

Tough question. Anand and the team didn't give me the chance to even find a single thing I didn't like.

Reception were very helpful when my flight changed I paid booking was not delivered! Also the airport Taxi I paid Booking for was a disaster with a Taxi driver not knowing where I was going, Adnan spoke to him on the phone with directions. Hotel is in a wonderful location with a very interesting 20 minute walk to the Ghats. Well equipped room , and even supplying me with a heater as I had not anticipated how cold the nights were. Defiantly a 10

Nothing all above my expectations

We had a great stay here. The staff are very helpful, especially Mr Anand who took us on a complimentary tour of 3 temples and a traditional silk factory. If you need any tours: eg. Arti/River boats then speak to him, much cheaper than booking a tour online. The room is nice and spacious, definitely worth the money. You can order food to your room from their kitchen, our meal was very tasty. Highly recommend.

Loved everything. We have been to many hotel in India but never had friendly and nice environment as this hotel. I would recommend anyone who comes to Varanasi to come here for comfortable stay. Felt like 5 star hotel !! And helped us with local tour guide and driver for long route. Can’t explain enough but our trip was successful because of hotel staff members.

The food is amazing and the staff are beyond kind and helpful. Anand is the best guide and made my stay in Varanasi really easy and hassle free. The hotel took care of everything I needed including currency exchange. Thank you so much for a great stay and comfotable room.
