Service is above par and exceptional. The staff go over and beyond to make one feel taken care of. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Definitely 6 star service from room service, housekeeping and restaurant staff.

Lobby and front desk during checkin. The executive didn't consult us asking for preferences in room, floor etc. Didn't explain the facilities. Did not quite feel welcome. Choice of offerings on the menu either during break fast or lunch didn't feel like you re in a 5 star hotel. It was mediocre at best.

We are a blended family (USA + India) that has varied needs, and tastes when it comes to food. We stayed at Vivanta Vijayawada for several weeks. In my opinion we are hard to please! I know, because I tried and failed several times. Having said that, our entire family was more than pleased and beyond! For example, we enjoyed fresh made (I mean REALLY REALLY FRESH :)...like PAN to PLATE directly fresh) dosa, appallm, puri, idli, pancakes, waffles, grilled cheese sandwiches, tandoori roti, chicken burgers, mini pizzas, chicken tikka, EVEN fresh made donuts, and many more! The staff tended to each and every need of our family members, even on those days we arrived late to the buffet. Sanjib, Rajesh, Ramana Murthy and Chef Madhu, talked to us on several occasions and understood our needs. The lunch and dinner buffet had plenty of choices, and each and every dish is labelled with its nutrition facts and allergies. I could go on forever about the food, but the space here is limited. The rooms are clean as they can be, and staff is very courteous. Jagannath in housekeeping was extremely accommodating to our needs, and brought us extra hangers, duvets, beds, coloring papers, coloring pens, toys, etc., On our daughter's birthday, Jagannath even decorated our bedroom with balloons, flowers and a towel art of birthday cake. Pritam in sales brought a birthday cake for our daughter. The staff even celebrated Father's day for my husband. Simply put, there is love in every square inch of Vivanta Vijayawada. It all made sense to me when I met the general manager Ankit. He is a dedicated leader that established an Exemplary Culture, and he makes all of this possible. Every evening, our entire family enjoyed the gym, with two personal trainers, Krishna and Kajal, followed by a relaxing swim in the infinity pool, and invigorating steam sauna!!! The location on MG Road makes easy to walk to most places. This is paradise!

The coffee experience could be improved. I am a coffee aficionado, and I invested in an espresso machine for my home. Me and my husband are used to enjoying a delicious cup every morning as a bonding experience. The espresso here was over extracted leading to a bitter taste. This could possibly be improved by barista training. I am not well versed in filter coffee, but that was just fine for me. However, the coffee cups were always pre-warmed and the service was excellent.

Breakfast was very tasty and Rajesh,Lakshmi, Abhirjit and suchana staffs are take care very much especially olders. I am really very happy to see these people's dedication in their work. Thanks all employees and management for we are enjoying our stay like our home,

Over all every thing is good but., cool stay and 🛀 bathtub was leakaing water 💧 Nd I suggest a small swimming pool for kids height upto 2feet should be constructed

I didn't like the flooring and entrance of the room door was normal not as I expected like Novotel nd lemon tree and Buffet dinner was not up to expectations food items are less

Location

When getting down from the car and getting out, car valet attendants were speaking loudly to the driver to move the car as other cars were coming behind. Attendants shouldn’t have shouted at the driver and should have seen we were getting down from third row seat of Innova car.

The entire stay was quite good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great also got help with the kind of food we needed from the kitchen always with out any hesitation. Raju from staff has helped us even with late check out and other needed things.

The staff at the restaurant were extremely helpful they went out of their way to make sure guests were well cared for and the experience excellent. The chef was personally making sure each guest was satisfied with their meal. The restaurant manager Mr Sujit was one of the best I have seen at any of the Taj properties, he clearly enjoyed what he did and motivated the staff to follow their leader. The head chef made an experience of the local cuisine and shared recipes of my favourite on the menu.

The hotel is a little old but not shabby in any way.

The floor on which we were given rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. One of the two rooms that we took also had the cigarette smoke smell, even though it was marked as non-smoking room.

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The facility is under renovation and hence can not complain as they already informed us about it. Food variety and quality is quite good.

Due to renovation a bit inconvenient to climb up to approach the lift

I like the location, the staff there are very supportive and once I request anything within a minute will reach the Room, special thank to Mr Jaya Kumar who is working at the Door of the Hotel 100% will not be the last time and Hope anytime I visit Vijayawada to stay in this Hotel.
