The facilities and the staff were superb. Staff were there 24/7, always very friendly and helpful, the bar and cafe were also super delicious, the staff there engaged in conversation, which felt nice. The pool and common facilities don’t only look nice, they’re also very clean and are a pleasure to use. The rooms were overall clean.

The only two things we didn’t like as much were - (1) the ceiling and walls in our room were a bit dirty here and there and could’ve used some paint renewal, and (2) poor ventilation in the room caused the room to smell of “wet linen” most of the time + our wet/washed clothes didn’t dry properly

The place is really nice, you can see the owners put a lot of effort into the complex. The staff is amazing. Coffee in the complex is great, as well as food. Thanks Randy ! and thank you! You made my stay great! The pool and facilities are also great. You really feel at home.

The temperature of the shower is not constant, thats the only thing I really can complain about. Its mostly cold shower. But that I hope they can fix for the future.

I can’t say enough about the incredible staff at Canggu Hype—they truly went above and beyond for me. What was supposed to be a regular stay turned into an extended one when I fell seriously ill, alone in a foreign country, feeling like I was at my worst. From the moment they realized I needed help, they stepped up without hesitation. They checked in on me constantly, helped with anything I needed, and made sure I never felt alone. In a time when I felt completely vulnerable, they showed genuine care and kindness that I will never forget. Beyond their hospitality, the space itself is great—comfortable, clean, and well-located—but it’s the people that make this place special. I came as a guest, but I left feeling like family. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares, this is it.

Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms. Great feature that guests have access to a full kitchen and fridge space for personal groceries. Property also has water filters dotted around which is super handy. We absolutely loved our stay and extended twice! Would definitely recommend.

Not a negative about the property, however you will need to get a grab bike/ car to restaurants and the main area of Canggu. Don’t let this put you off!

Such a cool place to stay. Away from all the Canggu influencers and a really beautiful hotel backing onto one of the last rice paddy fields yet to be turned into more Villas. Great pool, clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast options they have all sounded delicious. The oatmeal bowl I had was superb! Not too many food options directly near by but a $2 grab closer to the beach and you've got everything you would ever need. 2nd time staying here and would stay again.

you can use the kitchen facilities at the common area. But when I checked in no one told me about this option, I found out only by accident on my third day of stay. The glass ceiling in the room and shower 😍

They could not check me in on time as my room was not ready, due previous guest delayed and they did not give me a proper tour around the place. There was construction work at the back , was a bit noisy .

The location of the property is just a 10min ride out of the main town areas, perfect if you want a quiet place still close enough to everything. Walking is a bit far but essential stores are nearby. The facilities were amazing, clean pools and lots of sunbeds and relaxation areas. There’s a resident cat which is very cute. You get a lot of value for your money and staff are very lovely!

This is a great place and the photos are like the property as shown. Fantastic location. I loved our room that looked over the rice fields. Aesthetically pleasing place, clean, great showers - hot water and good pressure.

That we couldn't stay longer. The only other thing I would've liked is for the room to have a mini fridge.

Very friendly staff, they were so nice and helpful if we needed anything ! The size of the room was good, the bathroom was very big and nice. The room was always clean as was the whole hotel. No noises from other rooms nor the streets

Pretty "far" away from the beach but as there are grabs that was not a real issue
