A truly relaxing stay with stunning views of the rice terraces. The area is peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything was just right. We especially appreciated the thoughtful measures taken to keep the place insect-free—zero issues throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax in nature without sacrificing comfort.

While our stay in Pangkung Sari was peaceful, it’s worth noting that Canggu in general is becoming increasingly hectic. The traffic jams are getting heavier, and it feels like even the usually cheerful Balinese locals are starting to feel the strain. It's a reminder of how quickly popular places can change—but thankfully, the quiet corner we found offered a much-needed escape.

Large comfortable room set in peaceful surroundings in Barawa Canggu. All members of staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful (many thanks to Ada for his help during our stay). The pool area was great with large comfortable sun beds and free tea/coffee between 2-5pm with banana cake. They provide airport pick up (at a charge), as well as motorbike rental and laundry service. The breakfast was very good, served either poolside or outside the room. Small touches like providing two umbrellas on arrival were great. A spotlessly clean room, large shower and comfortable bed made for a very pleasant stay. Located close to many restaurants and cafes, 5 minute bike ride to Canggu beach or a 30 minute walk.

The quality of coffee could have been better, but we cannot complain when being provided with free coffee (between 2-5pm). The walkway was in front of the room, so staff often walked past, but we just kept our curtains closed when we wanted privacy.

We stayed 6 nights at this hotel and it truly lived up to our expectations! The hotel is ideally located right in the center, so we were able to walk everywhere. There are several lovely little restaurants nearby. Even though it’s in the center, it’s tucked away in a quiet little alley, which made it really pleasant to be away from the traffic. The breakfasts were incredibly good! There was a lot of variety, and it was a real pleasure to try new flavors. The room was spacious and bright, always spotless thanks to the great cleaning service! It was such a joy to wake up facing the rice fields and to have our breakfast there. The pool area is super cozy, surrounded by greenery – a perfect place to relax! And finally, the staff were so kind and caring, we felt truly welcomed. We arrived quite late, and someone was there to greet us. Thank you for taking such good care of us. So if you’re like me, scrolling through a bunch of hotels in Canggu and not sure which one to choose, I wholeheartedly recommend this one! Everything was perfect.

I absolutely loved my stay at this little paradise in Canggu! It’s such a peaceful and quiet place, surrounded by lush greenery with the most beautiful views. The whole atmosphere is so calming—it feels like a hidden retreat. Mornings here are pure magic! Waking up to the sound of traditional music during breakfast made everything feel even more special. And the breakfast itself was so delicious! The pool area is also lovely—great for a refreshing dip and just soaking in the beautiful surroundings. The room was very clean. But what really made this place stand out was the staff—they are the sweetest, always checking in to see if we needed anything and offering to clean the room daily. You can really feel how much they care. Such a cozy and welcoming place—I’d come back in a heartbeat!

Kitchen is open only until 12:30, so it’s not possible to have lunch there.

To find a place so close in the center with a rice field view is almost impossible. Wonderful place, nice and relaxing pool area. Room has two curtains, one to block light and one light one for more privacy in the room. Nice to have a sofa and TV with the view to the rice field. You can also use the small fridge in the room if you need to store something. Daily cleaning, great breakfast, free afternoon tea / coffee and more. The staff is very friendly too and I got a free welcome drink. Recommend it if you drive a scooter or don’t mind taking a taxi wherever you go (walking distance to the beach is far)

The terrace is a bit small if you want to chill outside your room. But there is the pool area for this. There is some mold in the room, unfortunately. Nothing for sensitive people. Apart from this everything was great.

It's very quiet which is hard to find a quiet place in Canggu nowadays. It's right next to the river and a big rice field. Peaceful vibes. Room was bit small but it's okay for couple days. It's clean. The bed was comfortable. Pool area is nice. We enjoyed complimentary tea time everyday. Staff is so lovely. They were very helpful and kind to us. We ended up extending our stay from 2 nights to 1 week. Overall, it's good value for money.

Rooms need maintenance. Walls need a fresh paint and bathroom could be upgraded.

This was the best hotel on our trip. Canggu turned out to be a bit too busy and touristic for us, but this hotel was quiet, with a beautiful view from each room onto a rice terraces. Everything was clean, the pool area very nice with flowers, trees and a river down the hill behind the sunbeds. We saw a lot of Geckos and also cute squirrels every morning. Best thing was the staff, they were super friendly and welcoming. I asked one of the kitchen members for the coffee brand they were using and she remembered and showed me just when I wanted to check out. The food (breakfast) was also the best one on our whole trip, I recommend booking breakfast.

Nothing really. The relaxing “balinese” music at the pool area can get a bit annoying but this is the case for every hotel.

I enjoyed the location of this place since it was near my favorite restaurant in Canggu and place to practice yoga. Could walk to the beach ~25 mins or a quick grab/gojek ride. The room was a great size, nice&clean provided useful amenities. The staff very friendly and helpful. The location is beautifully located outside of a rice field and the pool is set up nicely with lounge chairs and benches to enjoy breakfast with a view of the jungle behind. This place a great value for the money!

Thank you very much for your hospitality! It's a lovely B&B that really looks like a hotel, and a fabulous boutique hotel, which is a rare gem in Bali. They have slippers and comfortable batik bathrobes, brushes, tissues, soaps, shampoo and gel, - everything you need! They offer you the afternoon tea/coffee and they even give you some treats with it, we had the tastiest banana bread! They also leave as a present a plate of fruits in your room. The mini bar prices are almost the same as at a grocery store, the cheapest mini bar prices I've ever seen. Everything and everyone made our stay magic: from the curtains inside the room that make your privacy so warm and comfy, to the food arrangements at the breakfast, and general attention and politeness of the staff. The pool is clean, but it's always cold, because it's on the shadowy side. The bed is too soft (I know how it sounds 😂), because it has 2 mattresses. If the hotel could get rid of the thinest mattress, the bed would be perfect. The food is delicious, and the prices are cheaper than the most Canggu cafes. Best chef ever 💐🍜🙏 Thank you so, so much! We appreciate everything, we will definitely come back.

I don't think that it's in your full capabilities, but the river is really dirty and smelly, it would be nice if the Banjar could clean it. 🙏

The people are lovely. So kind and nice and the atmosphere is relaxed, a quiet place in the middle of Canggu. The pool is warm and the pool beds are perfect. With supermarket, massage, coffee and dinner within walking distance and for the rest you can rent a scooter via the b&b. This was our second time here and will come again if staying in Canggu.
