Ostel by Ostic is perfect as a budget hotel. We were on a bike riding tour and just need a place to have a short rest before going back to Jakarta. We booked 1 room with a double bed. The room has windows and curtains with a view to the alley of the 2nd floor. The room has basic furniture, just a bed, a table and a side table but they all very clean. The room has AC and worked properly. The premise has few sharing bathroom and clean. It has a communal kitchen and dining area. They also provide ironing facilities. The staff was very friendly and fast respond. Just remember to take off your shoes/sandals before entering the place.

Nothing. For a budget price like that, we got everything we asked for.

Ostel is one of the best accommodations we have stayed at so far in Asia. The room is small but clean, cool, and comfortable, perfect for a couple of nights. There were plenty of shower and toilet units, a nice courtyard with hammock, and a kitchen area with hit and cold water. Best of all, though, was the staff. They will help you with any recommendations that they can and are genuinely happy to help. They organised a driver to take us all the way to Gunung Padang.

It was a little noisy late at night and early in the morning in the courtyard rooms. Mainly one guest talking loudly on the phone.

The staff were so lovely and helpful. Would greet us each time with a smile and felt very welcome. The room was spacious and clean and smelt really nice.

The room is quite light at all times due to the hallway lights but we have eye masks so we were okay with it. Bathrooms also a little run down but again wasn’t and issue but just thought I note it.

The staff here made this business great - they were friendly, helpful and chatty. I liked being able to use the kitchen and the location was perfect.

I didn’t like sleeping on a mattress on the floor - the least you should expect in an accommodation provider is a proper bed and being on the floor, meant that ants came on my bed. Other than this, everything else was clean and ok.

Staff were really nice, helpful, and friendly. They clean the place every morning and they also offered if I want to get my room cleaned as well. Quiet neighborhood but not far from mainroad. Easy to find foods and there are also minimarket nearby with a bit of walking. Overall, this is a nice place to stay, would love to stay here again in my next Bandung trip.

Air conditioner didnt seem to work properly. Thankfully it was rainy season so the air was already chilly even without air conditioner. Wash basin in the kitchen is clogged and the sponge is moldy.

Clean room, clean kitchen, and bathroom. Close to ATM, groceries, and 20 minute walk to the train station.

There was a huge roach in the room. Also there were mosquitos inside the building because the garden and kitchen are in the open.

It is a super nice location, clean and the staff was great ! The location is also perfect, you can walk from the station to the hostel in around 25min or take a grab car but depending on traffic that might take longer both are perfectly doable

From our bathroom came a very pungent smell, something like the sewers, so we preferred not to use that one but the instead used the shared bathroom, which were always super clean!

We arrived early and were glad that they were able to check us in (an hour) early. Comfortable room. Location wasn't bad. Non-smoking indoor area. Overall, you get what you pay for.

The bathroom in our room was smelly. In-room cleaning (daily) should be considered. Our room was not cleaned daily (only the first day because we requested). Toilet roll was not replenished and our trash bin was not cleared from day 2 until we checked out.

The Single Room was Good, very Informative staff, Nani, Teddy, and the other staff Make the Hostel feels lively. It was rain quite often when i was there, but hey! What can i do if it's the nature's doing. Still go to Braga st.

I loved my private room, the location, the staff, how it looked and the peace.

I heard the cleaner early in the morning. It would be nice if the cleaner would be a little bit quieter.
