This place wasn't in our radar, but when we saw it, we couldn't resist. The room is located in the middle of a cool forest, surrounded by wide golf fields, making for exquisite views. The weather is fantastic, no need to turn on a fan or air conditioning or even open the window. Beds are spacious & comfortable. Fridge included, and lots of storage area. Great toilet. The free breakfast is excellent, and the paid lunch is among the tastiest I've eaten in Bali (Fish and Chips, highly recommended). Staff is extremely friendly. You can easily walk to the reception area or have a golf car come to your room immediately. For the price, it's a no-brainer.

Furniture is a bit old. There was a small lizard in the bathroom, but it's to be expected in a climate like this.

I had such a memorable time at Handara Golf & Resort. The highlight for me was the stunning nature all around, the peaceful atmosphere with the occasional fog created such a cool and refreshing vibe. The weather was pleasantly cold, so much so that we didn’t even need air conditioning, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I tried both archery and golf during my stay, and both experiences were excellent. The golf instructor and the substitute archery instructor were not only professional but also very polite and patient, making the activities fun and easy to enjoy. Another standout was the food. Every meal, whether lunch or dinner, was amazing. We never felt the need to leave the resort for dining, the variety and quality kept us fully satisfied throughout our stay. Overall, Handara Golf & Resort is the perfect blend of nature, peace, fun activities, and great dining. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Bali

The fresh fruit I had for breakfast was delicious. The staff were lovely, the grounds were impeccably landscaped and the atmosphere was so peaceful. The room was lovely and well appointed. We loved the soups and the coffees. The location is superb as it’s quiet but still close to gorgeous attractions. We adopted a tree so we will be back to see it again!! 😍😍

We were not informed before arrival that the spa and Japanese restaurant were unavailable so we had to find somewhere else to get a massage. There were very few healthy vegetarian options on the menu. The driver they got to take us into town overcharged us. Getting to the restaurant was tricky with a disability so I avoided it after the first day and ordered room service. If a lift is not possible, perhaps another small, more accessible dining area could be created? It really is a spectacular place to dine.

Handara Resort & Golf Club really captured the essence of our honeymoon. We felt home away from home. The staff at Handara is very nice and helpful. They always greet you with a smile, which completely makes your day. Would highly recommend this place if you're visiting North Bali, and we can't wait to come back.

The WiFi connectivity was bad at the resort. We were facing some issues, so we mainly had to rely on our data package. Additionally, pillows were uncomfortable, which gave both my wife and me a neck sprain, but that can vary according to personal preference

World-class, most beautiful golf resort we have ever visited (better than Australia, USA & Europe). Superb customer service from front reception, restaurants, room service & kids club. The staff went above and beyond especially caring for our children. Special mention to Setiaserih and Tedy for always showing the utmost care and kindness with their exceptional hospitality. Jonathan was incredible with our children in the kids club. We will stay only here for all future Bedugul trips.

Everything is perfect.

I think it is a good place. The room, amenities and cleanliness were amazing. One of the reason why i stayed here because of the popular Handara gate. Boy, I didnt expect from the stay to the gate was like 3km roundtrip by feet. If you enjoy jogging, you'll be thrilled with the path. The breakfast is good. It would be pleasure if the staff is having initiative to offer a solution. Regardless, i can see them quite friendly and they're quite accomodating. I got right in time where it was rainy season so there were a bit fly and the view was not clearly shown. It is good choice if you are looking for a place where you'd like to explore bedugul area. It's quite close to Bali Farm, Rumah Gemuk, Ulun danu temple.

This is a beautiful place in the mountains next to a lake with a very beautiful golf course that is accessible to players of all levels. Amazing nature, quiet place, very friendly and helpful staff, great food.

Some of the public areas of the hotel were under renovation, but it was not noisy. I guess there was a pretty big discount on the price exactly due to this inconvinience, which was fair. Room interior looked quite worn but nice and clean. Again, as expected for the price paid.

The property is absolutely breathtaking, the staff were very kind & courteous. The food & cocktails were amazing!! 🍸🍽️🍹 We loved our morning mindfulness walks & got to feed the bunnies each morning. My husband played 18 holes of golf with his caddy & loved it! The cooler climate is just beautiful and the location is breathtaking.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. Great Mountain View’s and we appreciated the cooler air. Our daughter needed long trousers and a jumper but we were fine in shorts and T-shirts. Excellent breakfast selections from a buffet. Both restaurants offered a wide range of food and we especially enjoyed the Japanese restaurant. The golf course was impeccably and the golf caddy was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There are golf buggies to ferry you and luggage to and from rooms, which are nicely spread out.

Be prepared for rain and cloudy conditions.

The location, the restaurants, the staff and the golf course are excellent. Best golf stay I've experienced and maybe the best course I've played. Good 4 degrees cooler during the day than most places in Bali that we've stayed. Enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel.

The lack of pool was a surprise but I guess with night time temperatures of 15 degrees C might be a factor. The hotel is a bit tired but comfortable enough. Still thought it represented good value.
