Comfortable stay in picturesque setting. The bed was comfortable, the wifi was strong, the aircon worked well. I had a room on the first floor with a lovely view of the rice fields over the balcony. The staff were absolutely lovely. Breakfast, although standard, was delicious - fresh fruit, nasi goreng, and coffee. The location was perfect for visiting the Temple, as well as scootering around the villages and rice fields. After an unpleasant 4 days in Jogja, getting back to nature at the Lotus 2 was just perfect.

I had originally booked a room with a "garden view", that didn't in fact have a garden view. It had a view of a neighbouring empty plot. I upgraded to one of the newer rooms, which was an extra 200,000 per night. I was disappointed that the room I booked was misrepresented on the listing, but I didn't regret hanging out in a nice fresh newly built bedroom.

I love the location and everyone that was there. The staff felt like my family. They helped me in so many ways and made me feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. The air con worked great, the drying rack in the room was helpful since rainy season, the breakfast and tea was yummy, and the quiet garden area was a treat. The location was also walking distance to many temples. I felt safe walking everywhere as a solo woman. Total bonus.

I could only charge my phone in the bathroom because the outlet near the bed would not hold. I’d prefer the bedding and towels to be washed without perfumed soaps.

The estate is owned by the same company as the Jacker Tour which operates some interesting tours around the villages near Borobudur. The homestay is along the main street of Borobudur and backed by rice fields. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are supermarkets and food options nearby. We enjoyed the motorbike tour to the villages and our tour guide Nuri was a delight.

The non-AC is a little stuffy at night. The room overlooking the street is quite noisy during the night when motorbikes and cars horn and scoot past. There are several room options available in this homestay. I will recommend that you get the villa room instead of the rooms along the streets.

Such a beautiful location. The guesthouse is set around a stunning rice field in the backyard. We were very warmly welcome and taken care by Nuri, Shek and the rest of the team. They are super helpful and so nice and friendly. They treated us like friends/family from the moment we arrived. The room was very spacious and open directly on the rice field. It's just magical. Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with hot shower. A common space and a kitchen is available as well. Borobudur temple entrance is 10 min walking distance from the guesthouse.

Nothing. Lots of mosquitoes but we bought repellent candles in a the supermarket around.

Lotus 2 guest house was fabulous. So beautiful, I loved the design of the separate mini-houses and the cool airy interiors. The bed was comfortable (my pillow was lumpy - could do with a new one there) and the temperature perfect. The tables with a view of the field for breakfast. Very atmospheric. Nuri and others were friendly, welcoming and accommodation. Our breakfast was excellent. We ate simple, local (cheap) dinner which we enjoyed. Don’t miss Borobodur temple!!! But book it early.

Just the lumpy pillow and the call to prayer (nearby mosque) at 5am which was loud. But that is found throughout Java and you just have to get used to it!

Staying here was the right choice. The staff are friendly & helpful. The breakfast was always prepared with care. I love how green the surrounding is. There are a lot of things to do in the nearby villages as well. In general, it was a relaxing stay.

There are mosquitos in the surroundings & my husband was awake bcs of the dawn prayer. Just bring mosquito spray & earplugs and you will be fine.

Great location amongst padi fields. Walkable to the bus station. Minimart a few minutes away. Lots of eateries around. A short stroll to Borobudur Temple. Simple good size room and toilet with strong aircon. Dated TV set with only Indonesian channels. Honestly cannot expect too much for the price I paid. Simple breakfast provided. Tours to Selo griyo and the villages are great, thanks to Nuri and Singga (I think that is his name.) Staff is very polite and friendly. My room is on the side of the main road. Traffic noise can be loud. For light sleeper, pls pay more for quieter rooms at the back facing the padi fields.

No hooks in the room to hang cloths, also implying no hangers in room as well. No towel bar to hang towel.

Lovely, large, high-ceilinged bungalow set adjacent to rice fields with view of volcano. Extraordinarily helpful and friendly staff who brought afternoon tea unbidden. Easy walking distance to good restaurants, Borobudur temple. Excellent value.

Drivers who were recruited to pick us up from airport and deliver us downtown seemed to take undue risks, even given driving norms for the area.

Excellent location, close walk to town & temple etc. lots of warung and restaurants nearby. I loved the serene outlook onto rice fields and the beautiful pond surrounded by plants. Was very peaceful, an escape from the busyness of town. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, great to talk to, very interesting guy. I loved staying here.

Unfortunately the bathroom was very dissapointing. Well below standard and really needs some work. Is a shame because I loved everything else about this place.

The location is superb, right in the center of the City of Borobudur. The room is very big. The bed also big, enough for two adults per bed. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room service is quick and good.

The parking lot is relatively small, if you go back to the hotel a little late at night, you will run out of place to park your car.
