Good & comfy bed, a variety of choices for breakfast, modern look building as well as the room, extra bottle of water in the room, swimming pool and gym

Public toilet behind the reception was smelly and forgotten to be cleaned during my stay. Hotel staff to ensure no cars stopping next to the restaurant with a running engine, since the emission fumes / carbon monoxide will enter the restaurant and intoxicate your guests while eating. This is an hazardous situation and unacceptable for whatever reason.

Most of it, particularly the breakfast. It was fantastic.

The guy who meet me at the front desk when I check-in. I came around 15pm and my room was not ready, he did not say apologize and do the necessary action to fix it. In fact, he responded to the guest behind me and that guest get the room faster than me. I still remember that front office name. He supposed to be not in that desk. Front desk is the face of the hotel, the very first impression, the most important interaction between guests and Santika hotel and he is not capable to do it.

Nice rooftop restaurant and bar, clean, good breakfast and friendly staff. Certainly one of the best hotels in town.

Noisy ventilation system

A large, modern hotel located on a small street in the center of the tourist town. At the top of the hotel there is a restaurant (a bit expensive) with a panoramic terrace, which offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and volcanoes. Room well equipped, large and comfortable bed, good wifi. Breakfast on the ground floor in a large hall, some tables outside in the courtyard, a large selection of various dishes, both international and local. Staff polite, willing to help.

Poor soundproofing of the windows, you can hear the noise of passing cars and motorbikes from the street.

Perfect location at walking distance from jam gadang. I asked a bedroom with balcony which is enjoyable. Super view from you the rooftop restaurant.

The property is good, clean and modern.

The food a Singgalang lounge is terrible. We had two meals and both were too salty until I needed to ask hot water to watered down the salty soup.

Good location - walking distance to Jam Gadang (Clock Tower) and Lubang Jepang (Japanese Tunnel - underground military compplex), Sianok Valley & eateries. Room was spacious & clean. Breakfast was delicious.

The location can’t be better. Very central to all interesting things in Bukittinggi; all within walking distance so very convenient. Room size is standard but enough for two and clean.

The elevator is very slow and the breakfast can be too busy during the long weekend

The location, rooms and breakfast. We all had amazing views and the Skylounge was a nice plus.

Personnel seemed to be uncomfortable in speaking English. As soon as they know you understand a bit of Bahasa, they will continue in Bahasa.
