Madesimon is a paradise in the middle of the authentic Bali culture. Far away from the tourist crowd one is able to reflect on the magic of this wonderful culture, people and environment. The pool is 10 meters long and five meters wide, surrounded by grass and an immaculate garden. The staff treated me like family and I loved it so much I extended my stay for a month.

Everything about Graha Madesimon was beyond amazing. Made has perfected the 5 star resort and villa service with the homestay feel. We were able to stay at Graha for one month, and we’d do it again in a heartbeat. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. We were also there when they cleaned the A/C units for the rooms. It was also our honeymoon! Which we got the most beautiful welcome display for as well. Also! Because of this location, we were perfectly in the middle between exploring the northern parts of the island in Amed, exploring the more coastal side to catch some surf waves, and we were a 20 minute scooter ride from the Sanur harbour to catch a fast ferry to NP. All while avoiding the tourist areas and inflated prices! You seriously can’t beat it. Oh and if you love fur babies, they got ‘em. 🥰 The breakfasts were the cherry on top, and you can’t find more caring, thoughtful staff. Graha truly became our home. We can’t wait to come back.

Pack some earplugs! The roosters go crazy in the neighbourhood. It isn’t usually an issue, but some mornings they get pretty lively. But that has nothing to do with the stay.

We stayed for a whole week and were so glad we did! First of all, it's tucked away from all the tourists in a local residential area, which we loved. Secondly, the bedroom and bathroom were bigger than any other place we've stayed in Asia; the mattress was ultra-comfortable with a good balance of soft and firm; and we were able to rent a scooter directly from the property for 125K/day, which made it easy to get around. The family running the guesthouse were super friendly, responded to every message quickly, and provided made-to-order breakfast every morning.

Just temper your expectations to realize this is more of a guesthouse than a hotel or resort, and you'll love this place. A bit of dust here and there plus some squeaky doors, but very relaxing overall.

We liked absolutely everything about this accommodation! We felt right at home. It was clean, quiet and incredibly cozy. The atmosphere was breathtaking. However, what made the place really special was our host Wayan and his colleague Komang. Wayan prepared a fresh breakfast for us daily and also brought it to our room or to the pool. We tried something different every day and were absolutely satisfied with everything. The smoothies are highly recommended! We also had incredibly nice conversations with both Wayan and Komang! We got such great recommendations and tips for Bali from both of them, it was incredible. A huge compliment to the two of them! Not only did we love the luxurious accommodation, but also the incredibly friendly staff. We will definitely be back, no question!

The only thing we didn't like was that we had to leave again! Everything was perfect! 😍

Graha Madesimon has some of the nicest staff I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The room was exceptionally spacious, with a very traditional feel to the stay overall. Decent location if you don't mind a wee walk to the popular beaches. The food here was great too!

Bed was stiff, AC didn't pull its weight and the doors, while very traditional, felt unsafe at times, as they could shift open slightly with the wind. The deadbolt to supposedly prevent this from happening had fused itself to the ceiling.

The staff were very helpful and available always. Adi yoga helped me with multiple things, like helping me.reach sanur port to catch my boat on time. Thank you v much. Helpful team like this makes a lot of difference in a new place.

The rooms are absolutely stunning, extremely clean and spacious. And the staff are very friendly. They also rent out a scooter for cheap.

The pool was awaiting to be cleaned so it was very dirty and unusable unfortunately, this would make the property a 10/10

Extremely hospitable family who truly understands what it means to create a relaxed and comfortable environment. This property is a bit out of the way, but that might be perfect if you're in transit or just looking for a calm and easy-going place for a while. The rooms are spaced apart pretty well, so we didn't really hear anything from other guests. The beds were great, the bathroom was big and comfortable, the WiFi was good, and there were a few laundry shops and a minimart nearby. There's also a new sushi restaurant around the corner that offers Grab delivery which was pretty good too! Lastly the swimming pool was in great shape and the overall vibe of the property was very peaceful.

The location is not ideal for many things, it's mostly a good place to stop when driving north/south, but at least there's a few shops nearby. The only other thing I can criticize is that the AC unit looked about 20 years old and didn't work very well and should be replaced.

The house keeper Komang, is very cool and very welcoming, we had a long conversation together, he helped me on the planning of my Trip, and gave me good tips to explore the maximum of bali. We talked a lot about life, culture and everything. The house owner is very welcoming, she's very cool, and treat her guest as family members. It was the most important stay in my Bali trip, here I learned a lot.

This is our hotel just after landing to Bali from France and it was the most peaceful place to recover from the jet lag. The owner are very lovely and they made an excellent homemade breakfast. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. The garden with the pool is beautiful. We was 2 adults and 2 children and we highly recommend the place!
