We liked the location as was close to a nearby course we had enrolled in. It was also close to Dream Beach and quite of a night. The second week we upgraded to a newer hut which had just been completed and was more spacious. Wayan with her beautiful smile was a highlight and always super helpful to resolve anything onsite as well as new recruit Made in the Restaurant!

The first week in hut 1 with its dysfunctional shower head and animals running over the roof in the early hours of the morning. Also a regular worker their in green shirt who rarely smiles and not very interested in responding.

It's an absolute oasis, the pool area is amazing and the little huts spacious and clean. It's 50 meters away from dream beach and devil's tear, there is a supermarket and many restaurants in walking area. They have a friendly dog and the breakfast is also really nice. There is woman, named Wayan, who basically does everything there. She speaks great English and goes beyond her ways to help everyone. But if she is not around it's really difficult to get any kind of information and restaurant orders often get mixed up or forgotten.

There is no place to store clothes or any other things, no closet whatsoever. You have to leave everything in the luggage on the floors As mentioned above, only one woman, Wayan, knows her way around and is super super helpful. Everyone else is friendly, but either doesn't speak English well enough or is not able to help.

What a lovely little complex of 9 huts in a great location just a few minutes walk from Dream Beach and Devil’s Tears. From arrival to departure we were looked after by the wonderful Wayan. She, and her colleagues, were always very friendly and helpful. Room size was good with very comfy bed and really nice pillows. As a regular traveler I often struggle with hotel pillows, but the ones in my room at Cubang Huts were perfect Water bottles provided with more in minibar if required, along with a few cool Bintang’s and soft drinks! All reasonably priced.. Room cleaned and towels changed every day which is nice and breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was fresh and had a good variety. Severed off menu, not buffet which again is a nice touch. Good sized pool and plenty of loungers given the small number of rooms. Just make sure to wear flip flops around the pool as the “patio” surround is constructed of small pebbles set upright in cement and then painted. Looks lovely, but a bit painful to walk on. Oh yeah, Max the black lab is awesome. Very friendly and clearly well looked after by the team. Fantastic value for money and lovely place to stay for a few nights whilst exploring the island.

I would highly recommend the Cubang Huts. The location was beautiful, the grounds so well maintained and the bungalows spacious, bright, airy and clean. Lovely large private verandah and we loved the outdoor bathroom. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The resort was small, private, quiet and peaceful yet within walking distance to many places to eat. We hired a moped from them at a really good price plus they can arrange to have laundry done and returned on the same day. Breakfast included was perfect and fresh. We would definitely stay here again.

It was in a quiet area. The swimming pool was nice. We had a rain almost all the time we were there so that maybe set the mood a little bit in our trip. But it was nice to be able to sit on the porch.

Maybe not something to dislike but the toilette is outside, some might like it, I was trying it out for the first time and that is something that is not for me. Just keep in mind that you will be taking a shower and sitting on the toilet with frogs, ants and other kinds of bugs. The food was just ok, and the one thing that we really didn’t like was the music that was being played in the evening and the music during breakfast and evening was always a bit too loud.

Everything was amazing. We stayed as fam of 4 for 4 nights. Family owned hotel with great service super helpful. Breakfast was nice. Rooms have everything you need-spacious and cleaned every day (if you wish). Location is super close to Dream beach and Devils tears so you can basically walk there from hotel anytime you want. Shops and restaurants are walk distance but you can ofc eat also in the hotel-we tried their sandwiches during the day and all were amazing and tasty fresh prepared. Room has hairdryer, toileteties, pool was a saver during the heat and their garden is SO beautiful. Also made small trip around the island highlights. Very very pleasant stay.

In one of our huts (No2) there was very weak water pressure. In out all was great hot water and good shower.

We loved everything, the room was very cute and had swans and flowers when we arrived. We enjoyed the outdoor bathroom! Swimming pool lovely and plenty of sun beds! Breakfast very tasty (Banana pancakes very good). Scooters available to rent at the property which are a must but so close to everything! We got a transfer from the port to accommodation by staff and again then to Yellow Bridge as we were going to Nusa Penida (we prefer Lembongan and Ceningan!!)

Super nice stay! The staff and Putu were extremely warm, friendly and helpful! Location was GREAT with Dream Beach being a 2 minute walk away. Plus there is a local store just around the corner for any purchases you might need. The property gets amazing sea breezes so it was super pleasant to sit in the restaurant. Loads of sun loungers and big swimming pool. Breakfast is pretty standard with eggs and fruit but certainly hit the spot each morning. We found lunch and dinner selection on the menu were super tasty! Will definitely be returning!

I found I needed to run the aircon far more than I ordinarily would - it seems to take a minute to start to cool the bungalow down if you've had it off while you are out.

What a beautiful place. The staff were amazing, especially Wayang! We loved the breakfast, the comfy beds, the shower under the stars and the afternoon pool dips. Hiring a scooter was easy, dream beach is a 5 min walk and there are plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby (walk or scoot). As a boutique hotel this property stood out amongst the rest of the nearby accommodations. Will definitely be back. Terimah Kasih for making our anniversary trip so special. 🩵

We really enjoyed our stay at Cubang Huts - location was good with a lot of eateries and things to do in close proximity. Service was fantastic and the people are super friendly and nice. We also really enjoyed the breakfast! The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable, also the aircons were much appreciated and worked like a charm! We spent many nights on the balcony with friends. The external bathroom were also very nice and modern! The staff assisted with scooters, daytrips, snorkeling trips, etc - super easy! Oh and of course, the swimming pool was very nice! On one end it felt like we were on a safari, and on the other end of the room you could hear the sea - such a cool experience!

We had some issues in our room (number 7) with WIFI connectivity and the shower was either extremely hot or cold, we did communicate this with the hotel after checkout and I am certain they would have attended to it. Our friends who stayed in another room had no issues at all and should therefore not really be seen as a negative review.
