The beach where it’s located feels almost private, and despite the waves, it was nice to swim there. The hotel looks nice and is very quiet. We had the pool for ourselves most of the time. They have their own restaurant, but you can walk to the hotel next door if you want to eat at a different restaurant sometimes, so you don’t need to leave the area in days if you don’t want to.

The hotel is more basic and rustic than it looks. We were just coming from an amazing hotel in Ubud with the same price and similar looks, and we thought we’d get the same, but no. Now, once you adjust your expectations and get used to the fact that it’s island life and you’re in a remote beach, then it’s actually quite nice! On another note, the staff is hard to find most of the time: we had to go to the restaurant a few times to find someone. And there’s nobody at night if you need help with anything.

Loved the area. Peaceful is the word. Staff are friendly and helpful. They help with arranging transport around the island. The room was spacious. Decent breakfast. An amazing horizon pool. Have one of the best beaches right at your doorstep. Way from harbour but 5-10 min walking distance from the main attraction of Lembongan Devil Teas. There are many warung when you walk out of Hotel Area 10-20 min walking distance. However, it would not be fair to get out of the resort after evening. The roads are narrow and no lamp posts on the road. So dinner has to be done on the restaurant of the resort. This was the best stay of our Bali trip.

Since the house is made of wood, the room takes a long time to cool. I saw this problem on almost every island of Bali.

The location is right on Dream Beach and is beautiful and serene … it’s magic. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony, the fridge worked, and the wifi was good most of the time (occasional drop outs, but not too bad for such an isolated spot). Putu and his staff were all charming and helpful. You can book tours, ferry, taxi, bike hire etc easily with Putu …very easy and reliable and negligible mark-up. The restaurant was simple but very convenient and tasty, with a lovely view of the beach and with well priced food and drinks, .. but for variety there is another restaurant a short walk away (near the entrance to Devils Tears), and there is also a handy convenience store there too. Some of the more up-market restaurants have free pick-up and return … just a WhatsApp message away. If you want a night club atmosphere then D’Byas mightn’t be for you, but we loved it.

Location is exceptional. Staff so helpful and nice. Lovely place but simple accommodation. For Bali standards it was good value for money. Would stay again.

Pool rules should be put in place. Guests were allowed to smoke, and some left their towels on day beds all day to save “their spot” while they were not there, which should not be allowed.

Straight up awesome property! We stayed for 2 nights and extended for 2 additional because we liked it so much. As a small property, it feels totally private. We rented a bike and checked out several other places to decide if we would move but ended up staying here the whole time. Located literally ON dream beach, the views are awesome and the location can't be beat. The staff were all very welcoming and courteous too. The restaurant on site is on the sand overlooking the beach and offers drinks and food at affordable prices. They allow guests to add things to the room bill for easy payment. We rented a bike a couple of times while here to explore the islands and it was perfect. We visited mushroom Bay with the bike and saw a lot of very nice places there too but all were much more costly and full of people. D'Byas was far and away a better option.

If we didn't like it, we wouldn't have extended. I read some complaints about water pressure and some small stuff but, it's an island... the place is great.

Our experience at D’Byas Dream Beach Club and Villa was delightful. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, suggesting fantastic island activities upon check-in and ensuring seamless arrival/departure transfers. The room we reserved was excellent, featuring a comfortable bed. They even offered beach towels and umbrellas. The proximity to the stunning Dream Beach, with open access, allowed us to enjoy breathtaking sunsets, especially at Devil’s Tears – the island's prime sunset-watching spot. Our overall stay was truly fantastic.

While not a major issue, for digital nomads, this might not be an ideal workspace due to occasionally weak and unreliable wifi. If you have your own internet source, it should work more effectively. Just a heads-up for future guests – everything else was excellent!

The resort was top class. It was located write on the white sand beach 'dream beach' it was really private as the beach had access only via the resort. The staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. If you want serenity and a beach to yourself this is the best place.

The only issue we face as travelling with a 3 year old was that there was no TV in the room so at night after enjoying the day the kid really wanted some TV time. But was not a big deal. Great place.

The beach was stunning – enjoyed the breakfast right by the beach with the sound of the waves. Although there were big waves and swimming there is at your own risk. We had fun swimming in the waves! The room was nice, clean and spacious compared to other bungalows we stayed at.

You might encounter some harmless ants, geckos, and other insects in the room which is normal here if you stay in a bungalow. Luckily the baldachin over the bed made us feel really safe and we slept like babies.

Our stay was great! Polite and helpful staff, helped us organize our leisure time. Wonderful hotel new rooms, clean and cozy. Beautiful private beach with white sand. We were absolutely delighted. Thank you!

Since we were checked into new rooms and arrived during the rainy season, there were temporary difficulties with the hot water supply in the rooms. But the staff solved them quickly.
