The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had an issue with our aircon when we checked in and this was resolved quickly. The beds are very comfortable and the shower has excellent pressure and hot water which was great! Most of the time the breakfast selection was quite good with western and Indonesian options.

We didn’t get our room cleaned one day despite hanging the sign outside requesting this, also one day the breakfast selection was very poor. There are no beds next to the pool which is a shame.

We stayed in the Fave Hotel, Makassar, twice in February, 2023. Fave is a modern hotel with all the amenities you need. It is in the Pantai Losari area, very close to the seafront walkway, with multiple neighborhood restaurants and food carts easily available. Though a bit back from the main road, everything is easily accessible. The location was perfect to allow us to explore Makassar either by walking or taking a tuk-tuk (motorized rickshaw - just ask the front desk for recommendations on how much to pay and negotiate that before your trip!) It is a bustling area and is a great spot for experiencing Makassar. The staff was friendly and helpful and had enough English to answer our questions. I often WhatsApp texted with a Fave representative who was quite helpful in arranging our transport to and from the hotel and confirming other arrangements. We upgraded to a sea-view room on an upper floor, and had a spacious bedroom with a secondary attached room with seating and kitchenette. The view over the harbor was really a pleasure. The bed was comfortable, good air conditioning, and there was a hot water kettle for tea or coffee. We enjoyed the Indonesian breakfasts each morning - and they will cook you an egg to order. And when we were too tired to go out again, we had a pleasant lunch in the coffee shop.

The bathroom, however, only had tepid water - not a huge hardship because of the sweltering weather. The location was a bit back from the main area and looked a bit run down, but being off the main street is probably better to decrease the noise from the cars and the entertainment that occurs at the Losari Plaza on the weekend.

This hotel felt like a great value. The location, cleanliness, and comfort exceeded our expectations. Two of the rooms had an amazing view over the waterfront to the 99 dome mosque and beyond. The rooms were spacious, and spotless. Everything worked perfectly. It is a very short walk to one of the more popular sections of the waterfront walkway. It is possible to walk all the way to Ft. Rotterdam and the 99 dome mosque. There are plenty of places to eat in the vicinity. We had a car. Parking was tight but adequate.

The location is the best feature for this hotel. The street and neighbourhoud where it is located offer many eating places making it a very convenient place to stay. A short stoll to the seaside to watch beautiful sunset. The lifts are surprisingly fast for their class.

The towels are so old they are too indecent to wipe one's body. Not sure about the other rooms but at night you can hear the street from my room on the 7th floor that faces the street.

The location is perfect. Pantai Losari and boulevard really close. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets. We had a family room with a great view. The room was spacious and clean. There is also a swimmingpool. Massages are given in your room. We will visit this hotel again, during our next stay in Makassar.

For breakfast it was not always easy to find a place to sit inside. Mostly we had to choose a table outside, between smoking people. We are non smokers. There is no fridge in the room. But if you need cool drink the supermarket is just around the corner.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms with comfortable beds. Good price. The breakfast was good.

The edges and floors of the swimming pool were very slippery. There should be some anti slip covering on sloping edges and pool room floors. I made a bad fall and strained my knees and knocked my head against the wall when getting out using the steel pool stair. The room cleaning was often very late ( lack of staff )

Good location. Reasonable price, good size room. Water refill station in the hall.

If you like a quiet rook I recommend staying away from the elevator and on the opposite side as Losari Beach. They had music every night from 6-11pm at Losari and even in the top floor it was loud enough to hear it well in our room. Other than that we loved our stay. We didn’t take breakfast so can’t comment on that.

The new renovations look amasing. Beautiful buffet breakfast. Location perfect for Makassar City visit, close to the best shopping & eating locations.Hetel near capacity, limited parking on-site, but staff catered for valet parking for free off-site.

Nice, staff very friendly and helpfull. Buffet breakfast was great, lots of variety and always fresh.

One room had a small table and chair but the other didn't. We were there during renovations so had to enter and exit through carpark which was dangerous, holes in the ground and scary for my elderly mother.

The location is very strategic, close to Losari Beach, to Somba Opu and surrounded by many food vendors and restaurants

The breakfast area can be cramped when peak season or when many guest coming. Its rooftop is also great place to hang out. Though, it is empty and no canopy
