I stayed at 221 Garden Cottages while solo travelling in Nusa Lembongan and had such a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful, always available if I needed anything or had questions about the island. The cottage itself was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. I loved the peaceful garden setting. Everything was well taken care of and felt thoughtfully designed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend 221 Garden Cottages to anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and welcoming place to stay on the island.

The only minor downside was the Wi-Fi being out for a day due to a thunderstorm, but that was completely outside their control.

221 Garden Cottages was one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. The grounds were beautiful, tranquil and SO private. It felt like you were in your own little haven. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were beautifully kept. The pool was fabulous. The best part of all though, were the staff. Yogi, Gusti and crew were so accommodating, friendly, and wanted to do everything in their power to make it as comfortable as they possibly could for you. We would go back there if not for the actual accomodation, just to see these guys. Thank you 221 Garden Cottages for the best 5 nights ever.

Our aircon did trip a couple of times but this was rectified by staff as quickly as they possibly could.

221 Garden Cottages is a beautiful, quiet property just outside the main area of Mushroom Bay. Gusti and all the staff were warm and welcoming from the minute we arrived, always ready to help make our stay memorable with any request we had, from bike rentals to tours to ferry tickets off the island. I can't recommend them enough. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were always satisfying, and Ketty, their kitty cat is super friendly and cute as a button. Great property, great people, great stay. Thank you, everyone, at 221!!

Very cozy place. Owner and staff ist very very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, big and with everything you need equipped (even a hairdryer is available). Aircon worked pretty well. Pool is very nice to just hang out. Free water refill available as well scooter rental. My scooter wasn’t working one day while I was at dream beach, I called the owner and after 10 minutes there came already someone to help me. Very very nice and trustful. Thank you again!

Well, these loud geckos everywhere (I changed the room cause I had one in my bathroom directly sitting in the wall which was unbelievable loud and I couldn’t sleep the whole first night - but as well here the owner and staff did everything possible that the gecko went away and I felt comfortable, unfortunately without success the first night haha) and the other animals who wake you up very early in the morning (chickens and dogs). Bring earplugs and you are fine I think.

Every single thing! I was greeted with a refreshing cold towel and a delicious fruit drink, The rooms were well appointed even a mini bar! The room was big with tall ceilings and beautiful art on the walls. The bed was so comfortable and the gardens were pristine all around the pool. The staff were lovely and inviting. I stayed here 9 days and when I come back this is the only place I will stay!

They thought of everything so there was nothing to dislike

The host is friendly and able to react to situations. The staff are friendly as well. The place is clean and comfortable to stay. The whole environment of the place is pleasant. We ended up extending our stay. If you come to this island to scuba dive, there's a really good dive center (tamarind divers) nearby.

The road to get there is in horrible shape. For some people, the location can be off-putting, since it's not on the main beach. The bikes you can rent are in quite bad condition but priced as regular bikes.

Everything was perfect! The room was big and comfy, the pool area in the middle of the cottages is good, cottages surrounded by beautiful garden. Mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, balcony, pool towels, water dispenser, they have everything to make you feel like home. Bathroom was clean, hot shower with really good pressure. Staff was AMAZING! They assist with everything, laundry, motorbike rental, boat ride booking, .. 5 min walk to Mushroom beach and a lot of places to eat.

I just realised that breakfast was included in my booking but they told me the opposite. Nothing really major, I should ve checked before.

Cean rooms, comfortable, fresh linen, was unsure about if we paid breakfast or not, little bit of confusion when we ordered. Loved the rooms, really clean/ comfortable and spacious.

Only downfall, we were charged 3% on our DEBIT card, which is a very poor form habit all throughout indonesia, there is no charge on DEBIT cards !! I spoke to the guy when i was paying this and he pretended not to understand and proceeded to tell me only no charge to Madiri cards..... This is my pet hate in Indonesia.

The rooms were very well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities and complementary drinking water. A good sized TV was also supplied. Wi fi was good and there was a nice pool set in a lush central garden. The huts were stylish and modern with a vaulted ceiling. The beds were big and very comfortable. There was also a good choice of breakfasts. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the manager, Mr Kariana, was helpful in arranging boat transfers and a snorkeling trip for a good price. A great place to stay.

There was nothing to dislike.

The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and tranquil. It was nice after a busy day to come back to our little bungalow nestled amongst the gardens and relax. The staff went out of their way every day to ensure we felt welcomed and catered for. The location was perfect, up a quiet road but close enough we could walk to mushroom Bay.

The bathroom facilities were dated, however for the price it was easily overlooked.
