Wonderful, friendly staff and beautiful gardens. Small but lovely pool area. The local food at the restaurant was great - the fish in banana leaf was delicious as was the lemongrass soda drink. We had a large comfortable suite room.

Our suite was at the back of the hotel, adjoining local neighbours. There was a strong smell of dung/manure coming into from there and sometimes they burnt rubbish in that back neighbour area which was unpleasant. This is not the fault of Taruna and obviously neighbours are free to do as they wish on their land but it did impact our enjoyment of the open bathroom. The walk into town is a little long and the road rough but we hired a scooter, so the problem was solved.

The room was super spacious with a great outdoor shower. The service and attention to detail from staff was the best of our stay. They are fantastic. Cleanliness is at a high standard (as it should be) and the restaurant served delicious food. No time to use the pool but it look really nice and relaxing. The place has lovely gardens and a great atmosphere to just relax and unwind. The property arranged us a taxi service back to Denpasar which was also really good

The only thing I did not like was that the property is somewhat far away from the main area where restaurants and the beach are, having to walk very close to a super busy road. Something not very safe. The gigantic bed needs more than just one pillow per person, as well as better pillows and mattress as they were hard as a rock

Taruna Homestay has been one of my favorite places I’ve stayed at in Indonesia. The Taruna family are so welcoming and ensure that you have a very comfortable stay. I always felt very well taken care of during my stay. Beautiful property and spacious rooms! Great location and would recommend anyone to come stay with the Taruna family.

The staff was so incredibly helpful and the food was delicious. It's also pretty close by foot or scooter to the main few things to see around pemuteran. It was also quiet and not very touristy. They are very accommodating and answer very fast!

Beware that the grap app doesn't bring you to the right address! Breakfast portions were a bit small, the things to see around are a bit underwhelming, which has nothing to do with the hotel, but it makes the location less interesting.

We spent 8 incredible days at Taruna homestay shops! Everything was perfect The room is very large with a very charming outdoor bathroom! This one is cleaned twice a day nothing to say! Then the restaurant is fabulous The breakfast is very complete we even had the chance to take it at the pool (an incredible experience) for dinner a diverse and fresh menu a real treat with attentive and gentle service to spend a total relaxing moment. The hotel includes a lot of activities and will be able to answer all your questions. I thank ALL the staff again for their kindness and sweetness and thank you to taruna for her generosity and are sharing! We recommend this establishment 100% and we will come back be sure! After stepping through the front entrance we were transported into a beautiful, thoughtful oasis. The gardens were stunning, we stayed in the Rama Suite which was immaculately clean and there was a real attention to detail. Felt luxurious… huge comfortable bed and we loved the quirky shower! The pool was beautiful, our room was incredibly quiet and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. We returned to the hotel for dinner and it was excellent with the added treat of live gamelan music. We stumbled across this place and would definitely return. Excellent value for money.

We had the loveliest house with three separate beds for the kids and a beautiful room for the adults. Everything was clean and neat. The staff were so helpful and nice. Fresh flowers in the room and fragrant clean linens and towels. Fine dinner in the restaurant. We got help with renting scooters, help with onward transport and generally good service.

The breakfast was quite simple and it would have been nice with a few more coffee options.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Taruna. Beautiful room, garden and pool. The showers in the room were gorgeous! Excellent service, very friendly staff and very good food in the restaurant. The location was also perfect. We greatly appreciated the extra touches like room service and even turn-down service! We returned from dinner to find our beds turned down, outdoor lights on and mosquito repelling devices plugged in. 100% recommend!

Everything was great, but the only thing that could add to the experience would be a mini-fridge in the room.

Cannot fault this little place. The staff are joyful, the gardens and pool are perfectly maintained. The food is good. The rooms are super comfortable, clean and large. The staff go the extra mile - makeup the room everyday, and turn- down for bedtime. This is over and above their star level. It was also lovely to see them including and training local high school students for future tourism jobs. We had a big goodbye hug from them all.

Hmmm, well, the fridge in the room was a little noisy, so we just unplugged it at night. The best location in town is definitely closer to the biorock, but the hotel does offer a shuttle service.

They had a lovely pool and we also used the day spa. The restaurant was great, but slightly more expensive than others in the area. The service was wonderful in all areas. Loved the outside shower. The Gift shop/art gallery was really good value!!

Nothing about the hotel. The road out the front was busy but it did not impact once inside the hotel grounds.
