super comfy bed, clear rooms, and working hot water, breakfast was superb and location impeccable

the drinking water system needs improvement, having to call the operator for more water with waiting time of 5 minutes is not great, the water jug was also very small, so i had to keep calling the staff back and forth and eventually gave up and buy my own water from indomart (which is quite far and i had to walk those miles with 7,5 liters of water) not ideal situation, please improve, and also i had allergies acting up due to the central AC, kindly do checkings

Breakfast was brilliant, and I tried the dinner for the first time. Compared to Jakarta, the price/cost is much more competitive. There was also live music, which is cordial for a light beer under the moon, next to the swimming pool, and to enjoy the evening breeze.

The entire hotel is considered one of the oldest hotels in Solo. Despite always trying to reinvent/refurbish itself, some of the rooms probably need a repaint. I would also think that the room (at least the one I stayed in, Room 511) can do away with the carpet for hygiene purposes.

Firstly the staff were very welcoming. The room was very big and clean, and the hotel has lovely traditional decor around the lobby and hallways, yet a modern bedroom and bathroom. Location-wise the hotel is within walking distance to traditional warungs, plus the main area for evening street entertainment (live music, street markets). It is also only a 25-30 minute drive to the airport. A great stay we will be back!

Almost everything. All's perfect. Except that I think room amenities could be improved. A bar soap, however small, is still needed, for simple things like shaving or washing hands, for instance. But other than this, everything is fantastic. It's a rather old hotel, but the comfort that it offers is worth the money.

In addition to the absence of bar soap on the amenities list, the size is the mineral bottle is too small. There are two in the room, which should have been adequate if only the bottle's size were a little bigger.

Location: nearby a lot of local eateries & have supermarket nearby. Is in the main road, maybe recently painted blue (like a castle) or the photos in booking.com is not updated ; we thought we arrived at the wrong hotel. Staff: Super friendly staff

This is an old hotel, if you are expecting a new and modern look and design this is not the hotel of your choice. But is not a problem for us.

Novotel still maintains its spread of breakfast: you can choose traditional cuisine such jamu, jajanan pasar, nasi liwet, or western menu: waffle, breads, pastry, meats, and of course local like nasi goreng, which by the way, is on "live-cooking" mode. So the nasi goreng is hot and tasty for sure. Don't forget ask for scrambled eggs or any kind eggs you want to accompany the nasi goreng! They also provide the coffee-maker machine, so you have yourself espresso (my own, single shoot) or americano, latte if you like. There are enough staff to serve us, and they are kind to assist. Novotel is an "old" talking about the building, but it is nothing compared to its warmth and kind staff, the breakfast buffet!

The vibes of Central Java or uniqueness from Solo, the location is quite strategic, and the taste of the food are incredible

On the first day, the door of our bathroom in the room couldn't be closed ; but after calling the customer service they fixed it right away

Even though it is an old hotel it is nicely maintained. I love staying with Accor Hotels as they have a good breakfast spread.

Can't complain about anything, except that they don't have Vegetarian menu in their restaurant. They should consider adding some Vegetarian menu. Made to Order Indian Vegetarian dish.

Novotel has a high standard that Novotel Solo has succesfully uphold. Room maybe old, but it was clean and well kept. The staffs are very communicative and helpful

Novotel need to be upgraded to compete with the new hotels

Great hotel. Friendly and professional staff. nice and big room with nice view. Breakfast is great with helpful staff. Nice lobby to have a coffee of good quality. Nice batik shop in the lobby.

actually not something to complain. The windows can not be opened, maybe because of safety. The kit that is used to lock them doesn’t look fresh.
