This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. As a kind gesture, they upgraded my room — and it was absolutely amazing. The room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and offered a stunning view that made my stay even more special. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of fresh options, and the quality of service throughout the hotel was simply outstanding. Every staff member I interacted with was polite, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and happy. A very special thank you to Ridwan at the front desk — his warm welcome, attentiveness, and professionalism were truly exceptional. He made me feel right at home from the first moment. Botanica Sanctuary delivers a solid experience without breaking the bank. The hotel is designed with families in mind, fostering a warm and welcoming environment. For families on a budget, it's a very attractive option. Its proximity to Taman Safari is a major advantage, making it convenient for families planning a visit. The breakfast spread is both nice and decent, offering a good variety of options to start the day, and the warm water in the kids' pool, especially given the cool mountain climate, is a thoughtful touch. The jacuzzi is a definite highlight, providing a relaxing experience.

While comfortable, Botanica Sanctuary doesn't quite live up to a true 5-star standard. Comparisons to Vimalla Pullman and Royal Botanica highlight the differences in luxury and overall experience. It's a family hotel, however the kid's corner is small, and the lack of extensive outdoor activities for children is a drawback. More kid-focused entertainment would greatly enhance the family experience. The absence of an indoor gym is a notable omission, especially for those who prioritize fitness during their travels. The pool is relatively small and the water is quite cold, making it less than ideal for swimming. It's more of a decorative feature than a functional swimming pool. The excellent jacuzzi makes up for this.

I recently had the pleasure of spending three nights at The Botanica Sanctuary, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Walking through the property feels like a journey through a botanical wonderland, with vibrant flowers, towering trees, and charming pathways that invite you to explore and relax. It's a true haven for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat. My room was incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect blend of luxury and homeliness. The bed was plush and inviting, ensuring restful nights, and the room was well-appointed with modern amenities. The hotel's lobby is a standout feature, exuding elegance and warmth. I spent several hours chilling there, and it was one of my favorite spots in the sanctuary. The space is beautifully designed with cozy seating areas, tasteful decor, and an ambiance that encourages relaxation and socializing. Whether enjoying a cup of coffee or reading a book, the lobby provides a welcoming atmosphere that's hard to resist. Lastly, the staff at The Botanica Sanctuary deserves special mention. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure my stay was perfect. Their genuine hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond made my experience truly memorable.

Location was among the beauty of nature , trees , mountains and singing birds. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with all amenities. Staff are cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was very good with many varieties though with concentration for the local and Asian taste.

Though many guests were from the middle east , there were no TV channels in Arabic. Buffet breakfast should include more flavours for guests of the middle east . Furniture and design were very good but there were no useful drawers.

I was deeply impressed by the wonderful atmosphere filled with refreshing herbal scents throughout the hotel. The entire staff was exceptional, and I especially appreciated the receptionists who showed great experience, professionalism, and refined manners. The hotel's location was also perfect. Overall, all the staff members were outstanding and contributed to a truly pleasant stay.

Every thing was great

Very professional staff, very clean and spacious rooms, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the room is equipped with all what you need. The swimming pool on the roof is very clean and well maintained. The view is amazing on the mountains. The spa is superb and the ladies there are very kind and professional and you feel at home with full privacy. Simply, this is the best hotel in Poncak where you get your expectations exceeded. I lost my mobile in reciption are, and the team deal with it professional and returned it back safely. Thanks Botanica team for getting me satisfied, and specially to Mr.Ahmed the manager who supported to solve my room location issue..

Being in jungle, you expect some insects or ants. I got biten by small ants twice. I am not sure if there is a way to manage it, but wanted to highlight it in case it can be managed and taken forward for the right solution.

Location, staff and breakfast

The Deluxe Garden View room I booked for three nights which stated to be 32 SM was so tight and no space at all as the whole area is occupied by the bed and the sofa. The worst was that the cloth cabinet area is in the bedroom which in my point of view not only disgusting but rather not hygienic. I had no choice but to stay the first night as I arrived late but next day shifted to a suite which is perfectly appropriate.

Location was great and peaceful and felt like we’re in the middle of nature

A bit far away from the city , so trips may take long and not many taxis would come nearby the area for pickup but manageable if you’d order one a bit in advance . As well as one employee was insisting on me that no taxis will come in this area and that they don’t accept pickup of hotel customers to convince me to use the hotel transportation for a full day which was unnecessary for me .

The hotel's concept was amazingly creative. The room type was super unique and fun :)

There was just one uncomfortable thing about the room: the shower and toilet ! Oh astaga haha. The shower and toilet are separated, but there's only ONE DOOR ! Lol.. So ridiculous, we fought over the bathroom door haha. Unique concept, maybe the bathroom design just isn't suitable for my teenage kids :)

The hotel is very nice, modern and stylish, a lot of walking space in the area. Cool and fresh air, great escape from the big city, we enjoyed it a lot! We stayed in the loft room, it's a good option when traveling with kids and since you the sofa is foldable it can be used as a bed.

The bar is a bit pricey ))) The hotel is situated in the very nice are, lots of trees and fresh cool air, but it takes quite some time to get to the hotel and out, especially on Sunday, due to the bad traffic on the roads. It's not a hotel's issue, but still, can impact overall impression from the stay.
