I recently stayed at Bladok Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent – just a short walk from the train station and very close to Malioboro, which makes it perfect for exploring the city on foot. The hotel has a charming, traditional atmosphere that feels both authentic and welcoming. The rooms are simple but comfortable, offering everything you need for a relaxed stay. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in the heart of Yogyakarta, Bladok Hotel is a great choice.

The only thing missing in the room was a refrigerator. Having one would make the stay much more comfortable, especially in the warm weather.

Attractive hotel with a very comfortable room. Very close to the train station, only a 5 minute walk. Also easy walk to Marlioboro street. Room was cleaned every day.

Would have liked more privacy for the room, as people could look into the room as they walked past, net curtains would have been useful. We had to keep the curtains closed which made the room dark.

EXCELLENT VALUE. Excellent location for exploring Yogyakarta. Close to the train station and Malioboro St. Close to good eating and shopping opportunities. The pool was so good to come back to after a day of exploring.

The title says restaurant-I could get a beer, but I never saw a menu, nor was any offered. If you are a light sleeper, pack your ear plugs- with call to prayer at 4am, Christian mass at 6am on Sunday, and general street noise. These may also be highlights for you if you embrace them as part of where you are traveling.

The shower really needs fixing: water came from all the sides of the shower head instead of from the middle. It would have been nice when the room is cleaned when giving the key to the reception. Apparently we should have hung out the Please make ip the room sign.

Location superb. Very close to the train station and the Yogya shopping district. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Replenished water and coffee/tea daily.

We were a bit dissapointed to find the restaurant closed down (temporarily?) But that was mainly due to all the positives we had read beforehand.

No complaints. Good location - 5 min+ walk to Yogya train station. Booked an air con double room. Clean, friendly staff, good air con and showers, good wifi, kettle with coffee/tea, comfortable bed, extra clean towels on request. Pool was very nice and refreshing.

The interior of this hotel is mesmerising. Got free WiFi and swimming pool. All staff are helpful. We requested to stay for extra time without changing the room, and they arranged everything smoothly.

There is no lift. We stay on the third floor. We got four luggage to carry to the room. But no worries, you can ask for the staff to help you carry your staff. Unfortunately, during our checkout, there is no male staff. So we have to carry down all the luggage by ourselves. There is no heater in the room.

The hotel's central location makes it ideal for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the lively malioboro street.

They have closed their resturants which means you always have to order from outside. Not an idea for me since I was outdoor mostly.

Room 45 needs to fix bathroom, smells of mold and moist, maybe install fan in bathroom because it takes forever for the floor to dry after shower

Very close to Malioboro Street. Near to the only bar I could find called Lucifers which had live bands. Room good.

This will sound weird, but the shower was so hot you couldn't stand under it. It was boiling. Whatever setting I put it on even cold, the water was boiling hot.
