Very clean, convenient, lovely big room. Restaurant was amazing, brilliant food. Highly recommend and we will be back!

We went in off season so check in was a bit clunky - no one was available to check us in until 4pm and we had to wait at the restaurant for a bit as it was hard to find reception, but once we caught someone it was very seamless.

Our room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable with great touches including the shampoo bars and coffee machine and games table. Good secure parking off road too.

We chose this place because of the food reviews. However the food was disappointing with breakfast being below average and full of sugary food including juice, yogurt and pastries and the only healthy option was the granola which had walnuts in so I couldn’t eat it. Some of the lovely local soda bread would have been nicer. Dinner in the restaurant didn’t meet our expectation, maybe because it was a Sunday evening ? The staff were very slow and portions small and expensive.

Great location, clean and modern.

It was a group booking for 13 people and whilst I understand the ‘light touch’ approach to such accommodations and pre arrival information is sought before arrival, and room and gate access codes provided before arrival, the result of this is a HUGE number of emails which irritated me. And now I get another to provide feedback…Could be greatly reduced by differentiating between group and individual bookings.

Excellent room facilities ... en suite bright ... great walk in shower...online check in not too cumbersome... food quality of breakfast items really good..great bed linen ... warm with great decor in keeping with building

Car park... quite confusing on late arrival ... lower lights on low walls on hilly slope ..but DELIGHTED to spot EV Chargers next day .... lots of hedging and leaves loose on sloping walkways down to back entrance ... clearer signage/online instructions as to which accommodation block was which ... it was dark and late ...

It was our anniversary so I chose somewhere a little bit more upmarket than we would normally opt for on a long overseas road trip. This townhouse was in a prime location right in the middle of town and the facilities in our room were excellent. Breakfast was in our room and the pastries were delivered in the early morning for this. Parking was on site through a secure gate. We had a meal at the attached restaurant and it was very good also. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do more for us.

Attention to detail here was excellent. The rooms were gorgeous and the setting was so special - we really felt spoilt. Our teenage daughters were particularly enraptured by the experience. The communal areas felt simultaneously Mediterranean and Scandinavian- it was very quirky but in the best possible way! The breakfasts were delicious - a welcome change from the usual full Irish we'd enjoyed elsewhere and just as filling. We ate in the fish restaurant too, which was delicious.

I'd made the booking and did feel a little bombarded with what felt like superfluous emails from Q & C both before and after our stay, but this is a very minor criticism.

It was very comfortable, looked beautiful and cozy and was very clean. It had all the amenities one can hope for and is located right in the center of Cahersiveen - crawling distance from pubs, restaurants, groceries stores and other shops. The breakfast is lovely (it’s provided in the room - restocked in the fridge everyday with pastry on the door every morning.) private parking spot that lets you walk straight in to the hotel/restaurant. Oh the bed was a dream!

We would like to have some bread to go with the breakfast- otherwise nothing, it was fantastic.

How to start - having spent 15 years in the hotel business, we have stayed in hotels from five to no stars. Quinlan and Cooke stands out above everything I've ever spend time in. A boutique hotel, run by a delightful Irish woman who know how to take care of customers without fuss or muss. Every room is outfitted exactly as you would outfit your own home/bathroom. Excellent amenities, great breakfast delivered directly to your room every morning, fresh fruit, croissants, juice, everything you could desire right at your fingertips. Hotel personnel go out of their way to insure a quiet and comfortable stay. Can't do better than Quinlan and Cooke. And the attached restaurant is outstanding - great menu - best fish and chips in Ireland with an absolutely best trained staff. If you are looking for an outstanding visit to a small town on the Ring Of Kerry, this is it. Kate and her crew are some of the best I've ever seen in all our travels throughout the world. This isn't a corporate hotel experience - this is genuine local boutique hotel run by a professional with exquiste taste and attention to detail. I wish her continued success. One of the best! One more thing, this is not for those who want to be pampered and looked after, this is a hotel for people who travel on their own, know how to take care of themselves, who don't need constant pampering. This is a hotel that takes special care to make sure your every need is already in place when you arrive and that the traveller is capable of embracing the caring touches put in place by the owner without the need for a butler or special staff. If you are a needy traveller, this is not for you. However, whatever your need, it will be met by Kate's outstanding staff. Enjoy and embrace this special place. You'll remember it fondly.

There is no fault with this boutique hotel. They cater to your needs and meet them with warm and consistently great outcomes.

The restaurant food, staff and atmosphere are exceptional. The accommodation is homely and comfortable with a beachy and eclectic decor. Each room is unique. So lovely to come back to after a day exploring or at the beach. For rainy days, a select library of photo books and novels are in your room. The in room breakfast is great. Local quality produce including smoked salmon, cheese, fruit salad, yoghurt and granola. Off street parking is great also. For electric vehicle drivers there is a charging point 2 mins walk away.

Location, staff and the meal in the restaurant was superb. Room was excellent very well equipped and comfortable

Terrible check in process. It’s likely easier to check in to Fort Knox. No reception area, all done by door codes. Had to phone someone to get into room when we arrived. Parked in car park but no directions from there!
