The hostel is just a 5-minute walk from Dingle Harbor. Very convenient location surrounded by local supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes, and restaurants, making it easy to stock up on necessities. At the same time, it sits at a comfortable distance from the main noisy street packed with tourists. The self-service kitchen is spacious. Has two fridges and all the essentials for cooking. In the dormitory, you only have to share a room with six others. It has a large window for good air circulation, and the space is clean, with very comfortable beds and fresh bedding. The bathroom is quite small indeed, but considering that B&B prices during peak season can easily exceed €150 per night, this hostel is a real gem for budget-conscious solo hikers and you can meet interesting ppl here. It honestly exceeded my expectations. ps: loved the interior decor and the hand-drawn paintings on the walls. The common room has the best hand-drawn map of Dingle I've ever seen. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

The welcoming upon arrival felt warm and friendly, immediately we knew that this was a good space. The vibe of the building was great. Most notably it wasn't loud and full of people shouting or things like that which settled us in nicely. The room was cosy and comfortable with 8 beds in the shared dorm. Nice to have toilet, sink and shower in the room for us to use. The complimentary breakfast was a nice addition, consisting of toast with spreads as well as a selection of cereals. Having access to lockers in the rooms at no extra fee was also really comforting as I know other hostels will charge for that kind of service. A chalkboard in the lobby had suggestions on where to eat and drink nearby which gave a good sense of what is on offer nearby for those of us traveling in for a short stay.

Nothing to complain about or mention here. Staff were lovely and the facilities were great.

For a short stay in Dingle this hostel was a great place to stay for me and my partner, especially because we were able to get a room with our own ensuite bathroom which made it feel like a regular hotel room. Of course, some of the facilities could use some polish or updating, but this what you get in a hostel.

Can't think of anything except maybe installing air conditioner; the room got a bit stuffy even though it wasn't super hot outside.

It felt so much more cosy than a lot of the hostels I´ve stayed at. You can tell the owner, Brit, put a lot of effort into making it feel that way. It feels like a home, not a hostel. The beds are incredibly comfy and warm (thick pillow and duvet). Brit also provides a few small breakfast options since a lot of the restaurants and cafés open relatively late. There´s also a basket with a few feminine hygiene products, shampoo etc that you can use while you´re there. It´s almost next door to Neligan´s bar, good place for some trad music. I´ve loved my stay in this hostel and will be back!

2 beds in an 8 bedder room on the top floor, very value for money. Showers were clean and water was hot. Other tenants very considerate, mindful of noise and lights past 10pm. Diverse crowd of mixed ages, lovely company. Light breakfast provided in the morning.

Room felt slightly musty and dusty especially widen sun wasn’t out. Not much room for bags. The age of the building does show but overall still get what you pay for.

This was the cleanest and quietest hostel I've stayed at. The staff are excellent. The location is great. There's even free street parking nearby.

The shower was not great. It's small and doesn't have a detachable shower head. If someone else is taking a shower, the water gets ice cold. Also, note that the free breakfast isn't a full breakfast. It's free coffee, tea, toast, and jam. They ran out of non-dairy milk during my stay, so I was only able to have one cup of coffee. There is a shared refrigerator, though, so you can bring food.

It was a lovely community and great welcome from the host team. The decor of the room was pretty and good towels too. The breakfast was much appreciated and excellent to meet and chat with other travellers.

The mattress in the room that we had needs definitely replacing, but I think there is a programme to renew them as and when money becomes available. Very late travellers arrived past 11pm and as they were right next to our room, it was quite disruptive and they kept chatting past midnight.

Extremely good location. Beds OK, other stuff OK.

In general, I prefer female only dorms and this does not have female only. I would relocate if such was available in same neighborhood. Kitchen is OK but very small and the tiniest dorm type refrigerator.

I loved my stay in Dingle! The location of the hostel is great and the staff were simply lovely. It's a small hostel and there are no room keys, lockers or anything which made it feel a more like a shared house than a hostel. It was still very safe. I arrived way before check-in time but one of the staff members showed me to my room and gave me a tour through the hostel. On the wall in the corridor are lots of tips for locations and activities you can visit/do during your stay in Dingle.
