Small and very well functioning hotel. The rooms are not too spacious, but when you come for sunbathing on the beach, you usually don’t pay attention to the size of your room. We had the window to the street. It was busy through the day, but it didn’t bother us, because the AC worked very well and the windows isolated the noice quite well. The hotel has its own sandy beach and the guests are offered free tanning beds throughout the stay. The beach area of the hotel is very well organised. Pools, bars, even the animator for the kids. It felt like the hotel is very well prepared to take away all the little headaches of their customers and it was extremely nice. To those who understand, the hotel serves illy coffee for continental breakfast! They even have illy coffee machines in the rooms too!Other than that, rich and delicious breakfast with the sea view and extremely nice staff made our stay.

The first impression, when entering Savona from the highway, was a bit discouraging when we saw industrial facilities in the area, but the longer we stayed at the hotel, the more we liked it.

I have been going to this area for 4 years and that hotel has the best outside area by far! The pool, the garden, the fact that the sunbeds on the beach are right at the hotel, no street to cross or walking...and it's included in your stay is just unbearable. Everything is very organised and clean on the beach area.

Our hotel room was a bit dated and tired, smelled " old" . I booked a room which wasn't overlooking the sea but I didn't know that the street was going to be that busy so we had quite a bit of road noise in the morning.

The hotel has a big potential to be a great property. The overall impression of the hotel was not so great beacuse we stayed there after the low season in the beginning of April and maybe that is why it looked not well maintained and not 100% ready to greet guests. The staff though is very friendly and polite. The food at the restaurant was also nice. The property is lacking personality and style as in different parts of hotel the interior design is completely upside down and there is no harmony. It feels like they got a lot of furniture and then tried to fit all into the hotel. The room rate was also the highest during our trip to France and Italy and the room is not worth it. I think they are playing their cards on the nice photos of the beach and pool area. In real life the picture is a bit different and the hotel is literally located in the middle of nowhere. The idea is of course that you do not leave the hotel during the stay. The biggest disappointment were noises which could be heard from the next door room as it used to be one room but has been converted to two rooms later without a proper wall but only a door in between. I guess during the summer months it all looks different with the pool filled with water an beach are cleaned. But the rooms still remain as they are...old and run down...

The location, right on the beach, was great! However the beach area was somewhat isolated from the main part of Savona. Once we had figured out the bus system, all was well. We didn't check this out, but other comments have mentioned a bus pass available from reception. That would have been good. Bus was 3 euros each way to downtown. We started in a basic room--which had a balcony, but faced the road behind and the hills, with the railway just about 1/2 km back from the roadway and the trains quite audible. Then we paid 20 euros each to upgrade to the seaview side. This gave us a bigger room, with bath (see below) and a separate closet area. Really nice--worth it! The cleaning staff did an excellent job of keeping things immaculate, in spite of us and others wandering in and out from the beach. The internet was fast and reliable. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. Not much need for lunch after a breakfast like that! Overall, a comfortable place to stay and explore Savona.

No café-type restaurant on the premises or nearby. It was either a high-priced meal (with limited selection), or picnic in the room, if you didn't want to go out. There were not many nearby options, either, in early spring (end of February) Also, the hotel has no room service. The Jacuzzi bath in the room which I was looking forward to trying, did not seem to be operating. It had no instructions and was hard to figure out. No English-language channels at all on the TV. BBC News was listed but the connection seemed to be broken. The facilities description on this website seems out of date. There are no sofas in the roofs. That being said, there's a very nice and useful desk setup in the ocean-side rooms.

Clean, well maintained, nicely renovated, great beach and wonderful pool. Three enjoyable restaurants and cuisines. Very helpful, friendly staff. Beautiful plants and palm trees. Free bus pass and the no cost of beach lounge chairs and towels are a plus!

A little farther from center of Savona than ideal but the free bus stops at the hotel very regularly and is quick to reach all points of interest. The sea ship platform a thousand meters from the beach is not ideal but the other amenities and conditions compensate for it.

The hotel is a small resort right in front of a very nice beach. The restaurants and beach bar were really good (maybe a bit pricey, but not that bad). Amazing breakfast, very good small outdoor pool, confortable and large rooms. All in all, can´t complain about the hotel´s structure.

They have some weird scheduling going on. You try to get a table for lunch and the totally empty restaurant is "full". As the day goes by you see the restaurant is never full, but you cannot seem to get a table anyway. Pool closes in the afternoon as to not disturb the guests from the restaurant on the other side with noise. Beach chairs on the front rows are always empty but nevertheless "reserved". It felt like we were kind of second class guests from the hotel, as if there was something else in place and we had no access to it.

We occasionally found ourselves in the city as our car was broken on the way. The people at the reception were very welcoming and assisted us with staying in contact with car service station. Thanks again for this. The hotel has its small beach and 3 restaurants. The location is pretty. The bus stop to the city center is right in front of the hotel entrance. Our room was small but clean with a comfortable bed and a small balcony.

If you room looks at the street it could be quite noisy at night. So I would recommend to take the see view room.

The hotel was very nice, we booked a room with sea view and we got a very good value for money. The room was very spacious, with Jacuzzi bath tub and a nice balcony, where you can seat and relax looking at the sea. The staff was nice and friendly. Room was very clean. Good they have a free parking. The hotel restaurant was closed so we had to walk 20 min to the closest restaurant for dinner, but we don't mind walking and the restaurant was worth it.

Check out at 10:30 is too early. Breakfast buffet was good, but very busy so the food was not refilled promptly. We were missing some vegetables in the buffet, but otherwise the choice was quite good.

A good location, handy for popping into Savona and visiting pretty coastal villages. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel if you don't fancy driving. The staff at the hotel were courteous, polite and friendly. We ate at the bistro, the food and wine were excellent and the service attentive and professional. We had a lovely day on the beach and relaxed by the pool with some fabulous cocktails from the beach bar (Campari Spritz highly recommend). The hotel decor and gardens are wonderful too. The breakfasts were amazing with a huge variety of top quality products to chose from. I would say this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The perfect end to our Italian holiday.

There is nothing we didn't like, it was all absolutely fabulous.

Location is in the middle of nowhere (at least in winter). All restaurants in the area were closed. (We stayed on January 1st which can be the reason) Room a bit noisy and not very romantic It was very hot in the room and could not find the thermostat (if any) Very hot in the restaurant too !
