The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The location made it very simple to reach with good parking facilities - a huge bonus when staying in one of the 'old towns'.

A little redecoration would go a long way but I cannot fault the hotel for cleanliness which is much more important!

Excellent location just outside the town and overlooking the lake. Lovely to wake up and enjoy the view of the lake. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and professional and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodate our needs. We had half board and the food was good, particularly the second courses. The quadruple room with half board was good value for money. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay!

The rooms are quite basic/spartan and some furniture is visibly in need of replacement as it’s old and damaged. Needs a refresh. In our quadruple room there weren’t enough places to hang clothes, with only 3 hangers in the cupboard and no coat hooks on the wall!

It was clean. Location was good

The shower was narrow, the restaurant was old style, the rate too expensive, lake view was not real view, there was not the bidet in the bathroom

Breakfast was very basic, the coffee was ok

No evening meals were available which was very inconvenient. The hotel did not inform us of that. Hotels that don’t serve meals should not be called hotels. The hotel was also booked up with very rowdy school kids, again the hotel did not disclose this. The drinks available were very limited. The best aspect was a good view and fair car park.
