The accommodation, in a Trulli, close to the centre of Alberobello, close to all the touristy stuff. Nicely furnished, with a functional kitchenette, clean, in a quiet area (after all the tourists have gone to bed). Stefano and his mum provide a proper breakfast and mum's home baking was a nice touch, and Stefano is happy to replenish anything you need if you text him. A nice patio and potted garden at the front loses the sun in the late afternoon and is perfect for sitting out with a drink, people-watching. Nice bathroom and shower and good aircon. Highly recommended.

Taxis are not readily available and Ubers (Black Taxi) are ridiculously expensive . You can get Stefan to arrange a taxi in advance.

Great character trulli in a great location on the top of the most 'trulli' part of town. Good restoration. Kitchen allows you to cook but lacks some basics. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom space but the shower is very small. Good heating upstairs and down. Plentiful breakfast, though a little dry.

The kitchen lacks a sharp knife and chopping board, and you need to be able to use 2 pans together so one needs to be a little smaller. It makes it difficult to cook. Only stools to sit on in the living room, not chairs, which isn't great nor comfy. Shower cubicle is very small.

Great character trulli on the top of the most 'trulli' part of town. Really nicely renovated upstairs with great bathroom. All very clean. Comfy bed. Good heating for winter upstairs, downstairs was a bit cooler and more draughty but still got warm. Breakfast was plentiful but a bit dry/plain. Kitchen allowed for cooking but lacked some basics. Nice to have a sofa (bed) in the small living room.

Kitchen lacked a chopping board or sharp knife, making cooking difficult. Stairs are steep and a bit differently sized so may not be good for anyone with poor mobility.

Really charming trulli! Truly a very good find in Alberobello. The trulli is located only few minutes to the tourist area and city centre. Our host Stefano is so friendly and welcoming, giving us a quick tour to the property and gave us tips for getting around the city. Well prepared continental breakfast and home-baked cakes & local snacks were there for us.

Nothing really!

This was an ideal place to stay for our trip to Alberobello. The host, Stefano, was very easy to communicate with and he made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. He left food for us for breakfast every morning, including cake baked by his mother, and it was a perfect way to start the day. Parking was easy on the streets nearby, and we were a very short walk to the central area of Alberobello. It was nice and quiet at night since we were just outside of the busiest part of town. Also, I felt that this was EXCELLENT value for the money. A true gem in Alberobello.

The mattress on the bed was a bit on the thin side, so I felt it every time my husband moved in the night. I would suggest getting a more substantial mattress/bed. Still, it wasn't a huge issue so I would not let that keep you from booking this gorgeous place.

A cute little trullo filled with character. The host is very kind and helpful. He gave us a print out map and marked down the attractions and his recommended restaurants. The fridge is stocked up with fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt, milk and water. His mother prepared homemade cake and pastries for us to enjoy on arrival. There is no coffee machine but a lovely moka coffee maker which is even better in my opinion. The place is only 5 minutes walk from town and a further 5 minutes to the piazza. The place has a nice patio outside with chairs and tables with umbrella.

Nothing we didn't like

Alberobello is other worldly - as is the Grandi trulli. Really unique stay. Stefano was responsive and kind. He stocked the fridge with fruit, yoghurt, juice, milk & water. And home baked goodies and coffee. So guests can make breakfast at our leisure. Definitely worth a night or 2!

Adequate breakfast and very yummy cake . Host was excellent and very responsive and home was very comfortable.

Just a note that there is public parking about 50meters away but does cost 16euro a day so just factor that into your budget .

The property was extremely cosy and the architecture was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and this was largely due to the preparations our host put into the property and servicing it each day. He brought us fresh food for breakfasts that we could enjoy in our own time and was flexible with our check in and check out times. The bedrooms were lovely, especially the one upstairs with the comfier bed.

The bed downstairs was less comfortable than the upstairs one which was disappointing and the showers were quite tight (you couldn’t bend down).

Fantastic location just outside the ZTL zone so easy to get to and there’s paid and free parking available nearby. Stefano was so generous and easy to deal with, he allowed us to arrive early and met us to hand the keys over. His lovely Mum provided some baked treats for afternoon tea which was very much appreciated. Thank you Stefano for hosting us and being so kind!
