- Had a cozy room with a pool and sea view (the sea is pretty far away though) and a nice canopy bed, a big bathroom and a nice terrace with loungers - The place is beautiful and clean and offers great sunsets - The staff is very nice and hospitable, ready to accommodate all your needs
- The food: breakfast was very poor in choices for people who do not eat pastry… no vegetables… no egg variety (just boiled)… we didn’t enjoy it…; we also had dinner one evening and, besides having to stay inside (because the terrace was booked for some event), the food was not great either.

The restaurant was wonderful and made it easier given the location. The pool and general landscaping were lovely. Though the pool water was not right (too much Sulfur?) The staff helped us out by organising breakfast boxes for us (we had to leave before 5am). We really appreciated this service and the delicious food.
There was no one to assist with the luggage on arrival/departure (we were international guests with more than a weekend bag). There was no complementary water or coffee/tea facilities in the room.

The views, setting, facilities and the structure/building itself. The setting of the dining area where meals are served is outstanding - with amazing views of the pool and sea. We stayed at the Masseria twice before Covid when it was under previous ownership. We didn't think it could be improved but it has. We will be back - SOON. The restaurant is now being run by Matteo Normanno whose cooking is a revaluation and couldn't be faulted. We had food there twice in three days!. If you stay there, or nearby, do not miss the opportunity to eat in the restaurant. You won't be disappointed. All the staff in the Masseria and restaurant could not be faulted - nothing be too much trouble.
Can't think of anything.

We stayed at a Masseria Samenti in southern Italy and everything was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, despite being late for check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Barbara, her kindness and hospitality made our stay even more special and her warmth truly made us feel at home. The atmosphere of the property was enchanting— peaceful, authentic, and perfectly in harmony with the surrounding landscape. The service throughout our stay was impeccable. The waiter at breakfast was especially friendly and attentive, making our mornings even more pleasant. We also chose to take part in one of the activities offered at the hotel—a ceramics class with Marina. It was a truly unique and memorable experience, held right on the premises of the Masseria. We loved every moment of it. Thank you so much for everything! We will definitely be coming back very soon.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an excellent experience. The pool was simply amazing, perfect for relaxation, and the room size was very generous, providing plenty of space to unwind. The sunset view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, creating the perfect backdrop for a serene evening. Breakfast was a highlight—there was a lovely selection, including delicious handmade pastries that were a real treat each morning. Dinner on-site was also impressive, offering good value for money with a variety of tasty options.
While the stay was wonderful, updating the mattresses and bedding to more modern standards would enhance the overall comfort and experience.

This is a beautifully situated property with a lovely garden and stunning views and it could be almost perfect. But there are some annoying, small but significant problems which it needs to fix. For example, the parasol umbrellas around the pool are made of a strange, porous, crochet-type material that means they don’t offer much protection from the very strong Puglian sun. The smaller rooms, such as those called “pool view” where we spent the first three of four nights do not match up to the five star quality and size you’d expect from the five star prices. (After we complained about this, we spent a last night in the much bigger tower room, which was lovely.) On the other hand, the staff are capable and pleasant, the food is decent and there are some enjoyable extras - pottery and pasta making tuition included in the price, and one evening we were there, an excellent live band playing pizzica, the traditional Salento music. The Ola e needs its management to pay more attention to these details.
See above.

Beautiful, relaxing & clean hotel, friendly staff also. Thank you to Barbara who helped us organise a hire car a few days into our stay, which was difficult bc of the time of year. Gallipoli is the closest town, beautiful and tons of restaurants/ bars/ shops etc 24 min drive away. Otranto is also gorgeous - 1 hour drive. Special shoutout to Serena (usually wears red) she was a helpful, sweet and caring member of staff who went above and beyond to ensuring we felt happy and comfortable :) We would recommend this hotel for couples who want a quiet & romantic getaway.
CAR HIRE IS A MUST! Without a car, it’s an hour walk to restaurants etc. And don’t come off season, we came last week of May & struggled to find anywhere open. you are very much left to your own devices during the day, the only food available all day is an appetiser which is a few small dishes of nibbles. Breakfast is basic & dinner is overpriced. You won’t find ‘classic’ Italian dishes like pizza and pasta on the menu. It says close to the beach but in reality it’s close to a rocky coastline where it’s dangerous to enter the sea. Sandy beaches are at least a 15 min drive north or south of the coastline.

We really enjoyed staying at Masseria Samenti, the place is lovely, the main area is well curated, the swimming pool is something very special and the rooms are big and nice. There was also a little garden in front of our room, where the kinder could also play a bit. Barbara, the owner, was really nice with us, as we went a bit outside of the high season, she suggested where we could find some nice open restaurants and she was also nice with the kids, giving them a little ball to play, which they could keep it as a present. Breakfast was also very good, as were outside of high season, we were served at the table (I guess during high season there is a buffet, but I am not sure) and it was all very fresh (fruit, croissants, bread, jams, pan cakes, ham, cheese, coffee, tee, etc..). It's also very close to the see, we just walked there a couple of time, as the weather was not allowing to swim (but we could not resist to use the swimming pool..:). All good, really nice place

Beautiful pool area, nice restaurant, spacious and cozy room. Excellent value for money. The hotel is in very good condition and for this area, you can hardly find anything of better quality.
There was an event in the restaurant which was quite noisy at night. But when we complained they immediately stopped the music and also offered us a drink the next day.

This is really an authentic apulian beauty. The place is very nice, romantic. The feeling of the mornings, to see big blue sea is unforgetable. The pool is the best I've tried during travels. The accomodation restaurant is the best in the region, with a hundreds of wine specialities from Apulia region. The sea could be reached by walk with kids in 5 minutes.
There was no straight rule or openning time for using the pool. But once in the evening 22:00h, my son was noted to leave the pool becaue the restaurant is full with guests.
