It’s clean, air condition works good. Nice atmosphere in the hotel and in the rooms. One day was total electricity blackout in the city for a few hours (this did not affect the hotel, as it has its own generator for such cases, which maintained the operation of the air conditioners and the availability of electricity).

Due to the very old electricity system in the city, there are most likely problems with electricity in the city, and therefore the hotel administration prohibits leaving keys in the rooms to recharge your gadgets, as you know, sockets do not work without key and requires them to be left at the reception to charge the batteries.

Lovely hotel near to the port area of Arbatax and all the local restaurants and bars in that area. Nice swimming pool in front of the hotel and good choice at breakfast.

Personal choice I know but beds were way too hard for our liking and bathrooms a bit small. Car parking is at side of hotel and can be a tight squeeze but there is another car parking area in front of the hotel which we used after day 1.

Old style, well-kept hotel, good-sized bedroom, comfy bed, new & white clean towels, smart TV with (log into your own account) Netflix, very decent breakfast. Good location, all-you-need nearby, from walking distance.

Although I was a guest of the hotel, I was reprimanded by having my own bottle of water on one of the tables in front of the hotel, since there is a bar in the pool area and I was not 'allowed' to eat or drink anything that was not bought from that bar. The music from the restaurant downstairs was a bit too loud.

After four visits to this hotel, it just improves! The swimming pool was looking very tired last year but we arrived to find it had been redone - fabulous

Nothing, apart from there is nowhere to dry anything ! Whilst I accept it’s more of a boutique hotel and no one wants to see other people’s clothes hanging over balcony rails, the hotel should provide a small collapsible clothes horse in the bedrooms.

When we arrived I was blown away by how clean it was, outside and in! Bedroom was absolutely gorgeous with super comfortable bed and beautiful bed linen.

Nothing we didn’t like.

The food is excellent. The half board basis offers four courses that are generous , varied and absolutely delicious. We have been coming to the Arbatasar hotel for four years running and cannot fault the hotel, staff or food.

The only little criticism would be that the swimming pool needs some attention….many little tiles are loose and also there should be a sign stating the depth of the pool.

The spa was brand new and wonderful but…. It was to be paid separately (I didn’t find this info on Booking announcement) and then you had a limited time I wasn’t expecting it for an hotel of this level

The property was well maintained and had easy access to the city within walking distance.

The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable for the us and the pillows were thin, hard and did not provide a relief from the hardness of the mattress.

Breakfast choice is the same every morning, so if you stay longer, it gets quite boring, the quality of breakfast served is only ok.
