The hotel and room had everything we needed, but the best part was the owner, Pierce who was very attentive to our every need. He suggested great restaurants and even made the reservations. He also helped with finsing us rental bikes and having them delivered to the property as well as arranging transportation from Venice and to Bassano Del Grappa on our final day. He was very accommodating with our diet for breakfast, and had lots of interesting information to share about Italy. Excellent spot!

There was nothing we didn't like, but Asolo is a hilly town and so if you don't have a car and don't like walking, it may not be the best place as all the restaurants are at the top of the hill, probably a 10-15 minute walk.

We spent one night here and immediately wished we had more time. Pierce, the proprietor, provided loads of information about the area and great recommendations. Our room was spacious and very comfortable - and it is clear that much care and attention has gone into the restoration of this property. We also enjoyed breakfast at the communal table on the patio. Asolo is a real delight to visit (this was our second time), and this was a great base with easy parking.

Nothing - all great!

Nice clean room, with confy big bed. Being in the barchessa, the wooden floor and joists gave it a rurual look, but thats a plus comparing to traditional hotel rooms. My suite had also a private livingroom with a gigantic tv screen, a spacious bathroom and shower with side water jets. Great hosts and shuttle service made my one night staying really ejoyable. Extremely satisfied.

Excellent location, friendly and knowledgeable host, lovely clean and quiet room, healthy and substantial breakfast.

All three of our GPS devices led us to the wrong location when we arrived. Our host responded quickly when we contacted him, but some directions warning of the GPS issue and describing how to locate the property would have been helpful.

This is a very charming and well appointed place in a quiet location. We had an easy walk into town and breakfast in the garden every morning according to our requests. The host is available to help with local knowledge and arrangements. Highly recommend!

The rooms are all different sizes and while there is a garden suite and another large bedroom, we got a smallish room. Ask for the larger rooms if you would appreciate the extra space. The owners are renovating a large house next door where there will soon be more rooms to choose from.

We only booked one night at Villa Trieste and ended up wishing we had stayed more! The clean simplicity of the Villa hid the obvious craftsmanship and care the owners have put into every aspect of the experience. The property is beautiful, and the room we stayed in was bright, airy, and very clean. Comfortable beds, and much appreciated AC on a hot evening. The staff were super helpful in recommending a restaurant and arranging transportation to our next destination. Breakfast was simple and beyond delicious.

I don’t have anything negative to say!

Pierce is the consummate host and went out of his way to make sure that we had everything we needed. The property is in a great location; just a short walk from town. We appreciated all of the small touches like the toiletries, the quality of the breakfast, the beautiful grounds, and the cleaning of the room mid stay. Pierce also gave us some great recommendations for visiting some surrounding towns, which were some of the highlights of our stay.

Excellent comfort in the room although the reservation (and this survey) indicates garden view which it was not. The owner and his wife went out of their way to provide delicious breakfasts and great restaurant and sight recommendations. Also parking was free.

As I said, the initial reservation said “garden view” but that was not the case. I think that had to do with us adding a couple of days to the original reservation which then precluded having the garden view room.

Nothing was short of excellent, but the best was the host family — pleasant, helpful and charming people who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and to help us understand Italy, its people and its customs. A stay here should not be missed.

A beautifully restored building on some lovely grounds. Comfortable bed

The hot water takes a long time to arrive and signage could be a bit better (reception/doorbell,etc. - we were a bit confused on arrival and wandered about for about ten minutes until we found the place and connected with the owner). Sound insulation could be a bit better.
