The hotel is unique as it occupies the entire ancient village with its own chapel that still belongs to the owners of the castle above. The castle well worth a visit. The view from the restaurant terrace of the rolling hills of Emilia is enchanting. Restaurant staff is very helpful and work tirelessly to accommodate every whim of demanding clients. Receptionists are helpful and ready to arrange trips to local attractions.

Lovely hotel in a lovely setting. Breakfast very nice in the courtyard. Can't comment on restaurant as the one night we stayed they had a pizza night which was just 'pizza' and unfortunately there was a large party booked in so hence very busy, but we had a nice experience. Room a little basic, but nothing we didn't expect or have complaints about.

The castle, views and some of the property were absolutely incredible. The restaurant served up great dinners and breakfast’s were perfect. Really helpful and friendly staff. Overall good value for money

At times it felt a little bit unfinished, both in the room (felt like it was missing some furniture) and around the grounds (a lot of visible construction storage).

A charming and well-restored castle on a hill. The reception and other staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very well done. The room was large and comfortable.

In high heat/humidity conditions, the air conditioning struggled to meet the minimum required to keep the room comfortable for sleeping.

An amazing old castle and surrounding buildings, built on the top of a hill, with incredible views and architecture. the food and service are exceptional here, this is our second visit, we will be back.

Rather an uphill hike to our room, more hand rails on paths would be appreciated. It would be tricky for less able bodied guests.

Fantastic place despite the fact that we were there during the heavy rains . The staff was fantastic including the amazing support of the owners themselves who helped to get us a guided tour of the castle despite their own heavy schedule. We have recommended this castle to our daughter for her wedding celerbration. Also the restaurant offered some excellent and tasty things.

everything had charm and history. the views were amazing. the room fabulous. the restaurant had delicious food. service was brilliant. staff overall were very helpful.

initially there is a fairly steep slope to walk up then a lot of steps to get to our room, although the view more than made up for that. facilities were closed….spa, pool and no access to any food when we arrived in the afternoon due to the opening times of the restaurant.

We stayed at Antico Borgo Di Tabiano Castello in August with friends and absolutely loved our stay. We got a upgrade to a bigger room with private garden access and it was amazing. The castle and it's surroundings are so beautiful that every morning I had to pinch myself when I walked outside. The pool is great and all of the staff are are very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast!! Oh my god, I've never seen such variety and it was all DELICIOUS!! Definitely recommending Antico Borgo Di Tabiano Castello and would love to stay again when we return to Italy. A huge thank you to all the Castello staff from D'Arcy and Gee (Western Australia).

Honestly there was nothing I would have improved about this place.

Beautiful renovated building where we had our bedrooms. We stayed in an older building in 2016. Very quiet and beautiful setting. Delicious breakfasts and dinners. Friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful historic setting in a beautiful tranquil landscape. Excellent restaurant with a lovely terrace. The spa offers very good massages indeed!!
