Cleanliness top priority for me! It was spot on. Very good breakfast! Helpful and friendly staff. Very good quality of cosmetics provided all natural😍Anet and Danielle great service. Also breakfast staff was amazing sorry did not take their names but they all were very good.

Shame that you don't provide hair conditoner in rooms, there was one in SPA. Also worth giving a guide tour to SPA explaining that you must press the button to activate jacuzzi 😁One more thing there were tiny insects in SPA and wasn't comfortable being bitten by them. Maybe worth putting some Eucalyptus scent in SPA and hotel rooms to keep them away. Also surprised by extra charge for using SPA I thought in 4 stars hotel it is a standard included in room price. Kettle and tea in room also would be good idea.

The Hi is a superb hotel with first rate facilities.Our rooms were spacious ,spotlessly clean and very well equipped.Excellent air conditioning,wifi and well-lit working area.Great bathroom/shower too. As regards breakfast,five stars is too little - wonderful selection every morning.Better still,breakfast is served until 10.30 am every day so no rush for the typical 9.30 deadline.Two coffee machines available in reception for 24/7 coffee addicts aswell. Staff very helpful and special praise for housekeepers.Location of hotel is fine - nice quiet neighbourhood and safe at night. Easy access to public transport - bus D stops just across the road and 20mins into town.Full marks on all counts.

Nothing at all ! Hi is up there with the very best hotels we have stayed at in Italy.Very good value too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice toiletries and fluffy towels. The pool was lovely. Location good if want to get to airport easily. Easy to park and bars and restaurants in walking distance if want a night off driving and a rest from busy towns. More of a one night stop than a long stay.

Due to a really early flight, we had to have take away breakfast which was really basic. I would have preferred a discount on the room and no breakfast as the breakfast area didn't look that inviting anyway. Hotel lobby more set out for business people than families on holiday.

Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was very good and variety was of particular note. The room was large and bright. Water was replaced every day in the room. The bed was of a very high standard and very comfortable. The staff are friendly and attentive. The outdoor pool was a very welcoming facility for rest after a long day of walking in the heat. Towels and freshwater were provided at the pool. The outdoor stairs to the pool could be made safer by adding a yellow strip to the edge of each step. The hotel is most suitable for business clients. The tourist client is not as well catered for and while the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, there was little knowledge of what was in the area. A very good hotel for tourists who have a car. Without a car, there are tours to visit Polignano al Mare, Monopoli, Arellobello, and a few beautiful cultural and scenic areas worth visiting. The train also runs to some of these areas. The old city of Bari is full of character and interesting to walk through the narrow streets and enjoy the beautiful Italian ambiance. Very good restaurants in the old town as well.

While I rate this hotel as excellent, it is very far from the centre of Bari and the Old Town. It is more suitable for business clients than tourists. However, I think this could be improved by supplying guests with a list of restaurants and other nearby amenities. A shuttle bus to Bari centre and/or the train station would also be helpful. There is a bus to the centre of the town nearby but the hotel staff did not have this information. If staying here as a tourist, a car is a necessity. The train station is a good distance from the hotel. The walk from the hotel to Old Bari is through many quiet streets. Taxis are available and easily accessible at Taxi points.

The hotel is located not in the city centre, but in a quiet area and you may get easily by bus everywhere. The room is in a good condition, everything was comfortable. My wife is allergic to strong chemicals used for cleaning,so when we requested to change bed sheets and towels washed with a soft detergent, the staff immediately did it for us, so we were really thankful for such a prompt responsiveness. The breakfast is also rich and nutritious, you have a lot to choose from.

The location. Information on how to reach the hotel was inadequate. We lost so much time trying to figure out what buses to catch from Bari Centrale when in fact a taxi would be the best option. This should be a key piece of information for any other travellers when they book. Also the TV - unable to access any English news channels, eg BBC or CNN.

Greatest Hotel ever in Bari! Everything is just so cool, an intimate Hotel where you can really relax! Breakfast, dinner were just so good! Let me mention that all the staff starting from the young nice ladies at reception to Danielle are just so helpful and great persons, supportive and helping in every matter! Also, let me mention Alessia, Gianluca, Angelica and the other people in the restaurant are just GREAT people! We love them and kisses to them from Hungary!!!!! This was our second stay at HI Hotel and we will definitely go back!!!

Modern hotel with nice facilities including gym and pool set in the high rise suburbs about 15 mins drive from airport. Excellent breakfast.

Bed was too firm and air conditioner was noisy on higher fan speed. Unusual shower box that projects into bedroom with glass wall. No privacy from other occupant of room. Staff spoke good English and were helpful.

Lovely room. Great cleaning staff. Coffee available downstairs on an ongoing basis. Also a kiosk to buy ready made sandwiches, salads etc. can charge to room easily. Breakfast amazing !, full buffet with lots of selection. Room very nice although our window was cracked. Quiet. We had been staying in a lot of B and Bs so nice to have all the amenities of a hotel. Very modern.

It says there is parking. There is street parking which can be hit or miss. This hotel is used a lot for meetings and so parking can be at a premium during the day. Having said that we also found something. Secure underground Parking for ten euro/ day. Front desk staff a bit aloof. Also if you don’t want to drive, there is a bus station close by but takes 30 minutes to get into the centre.
