One usually rates a property on the basis of quality of room, service, price etc. But we had quite the emergency with my wife breaking her foot on the first evening! The staff were absolutely brilliant in organising a doctor to come and examine her in the room, and then really helpful throughout the week with her incapacity. To me that is the hallmark of a great hotel - NOT how they are when things are going well, but how they respond when you have a disaster. They were all brilliant - from the manager downwards - really friendly, helpful and understanding. I cannot thank them enough for making our stay as comfortable as it could be despite the circumstances. And I have used this hotel in the past, when everything has been fine, and it is a great hotel to stay at for either holiday or business. A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL from my wife and myself.

Super big room, almost as big as the bathroom :) Very, very calm. The hotel is very fancy, retro style, a lot of marble, but is very pleasant. Outside the walls of the town, but very close to main avenue and touristic areas. The garage it's a plus.

The room it's a bit worn out; paper wass is detaching is some parts. Given that my room was in the backyard building it is a bit odd to get there , changing 2 lifts (one down, the other up) and crossing the yard, but this might be its charm:)

The Traiano is barely half a block from the city’s most renowned landmark from antiquity, the Arch of Trajan (after whom the hotel itself is named). The connection to the hotel annex is a bit complicated but ingenious, and the room was quite comfortable.

It would have been nice if the breakfast staff had kept the buffet table re-supplied with the food offerings that early-riser guests had enjoyed.

It is a well-restored building, designed in an efficient but welcoming way. The staff are extremely pleasant and accommodating, making my short stay very comfortable. The facilities are well-equipped for a longer stay.

The Staff is very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a very convenient location, and is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Included breakfast is very fresh and varied. Excellent cappucino!!

The bathroom door in Room 104 is terrible to open and close and urgently needs replacing

Proximity to the town centre. Secure parking off street. Large clean room and pleasant reception staff

The breakfast veranda was chilly to sit in and devoid of choice towards the end of breakfast service time.

My room was acceptable and comfortable. My son's rooms were sub standard and far too small and cramped. One son's bed concaved in the centre and uncomfortable Positioning of facilities awkward.

Location and Lobby floor were excellent

Room and especially bathroom had seen their best days. Staff in the reseption did not speak english at all. Garage was difficult to find and we did not receive proper instructions either by message or in phone.

Location excellent. Staff very helpful providing great map so I could find the places I wanted to see, plus were able to provide me an earlier Check in. Very obliging.

I couldn’t get the bedroom block out curtain to operate with switch.
