The location of the hostel is excellent, right in the middle of the city centre, you can get to know Cagliari by foot. If you want to go to a boat excursion, you can easily get to the Marina, or if you prefer to go to one of the beaches, buses are readily available. The hostel is big and comfortable. Two bathrooms for a 6 person bedroom was great, although my bed was a bunker bed (the only one of the 6) and it was a bit squeaky. Other than that, it was all good, the staff really friendly and helpful, both in the morning and evening.

This hostel was great! Right in the heart of Cagliari making it the perfect base to explore the city. The rooms were very comfortable and they provided a really good and generous breakfast too. What really made the stay memorable was the incredibly warm and welcoming staff. They were always available to help with anything and offered great local recommendations that made a real difference to my trip. I’d absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Cagliari!

Such a lovely and charming hostel right in the heart of the city! The staff were super friendly and the rooms had a beautiful, unique old-style touch. The garden is also a peaceful little gem. It’s true that the shower cabin was a bit tight and there weren’t many outlets , so I ended up charging my phone in the bathroom, but honestly, for a short stay, it’s perfect. Affordable, great vibe, and ideal for a few nights in the center. Would definitely recommend!

This hostel is a gold spot! Spectacular location, verry tasty breakfast, without meat though, but that’s okay, there are plenty of restaurants and groceries near to the hostel, so u can buy smth and then put it into the oven in the hostel, all hostels workers are welcoming and nice, u can depend on their help any time, highly recommend!

Personal was so Nice! I really appreciated friendly personál in hostel Marína! Hostel IS basically in center, which IS hughe advantage. Right next to the hostel is Cuban bar,which IS the best! Also restaurant in front if hostel is greate. For nôt so manh money you will get a lot of good food. Breakfast, included in price, IS Also good. I really appreciated that they were cleanong every day.

The hostel is in a perfect location, close to the city centre, restaurants ans establishments. Despite this, our atay was calm and peaceful throughout the night also. The beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. Special thanks to the inviting and kind staff. We will surely return.

There's always a bit of skepticism when sharing a room with strangers but Hostel Marina offered a very peaceful and enjoyable stay (I really appreciated the women-only bedroom). The installations were very clean and with AC, very important as it was crazy hot those days. On another note, the place was beautiful. With high ceilings and wood...it felt like an old convent. The location was amazing too. I would definitely come back for a solo affordable trip!

This place is the most affordable stay you’ll find in Cagliari. It’s not a social hostel by any means, atleast that was my experience. The beds were okay to sleep in, but no curtains. They give free towels but no lockers.

The reasons why I would personally recommend Hostel Marina to all backpackers travelling to Cagliari are threefold: First of all, the uttermost kindness and politeness of all the staff at the reception; Secondly, the utmost cleanliness, luminosity, and spaciousness of both the bedroom and all the common areas; Thirdly, the all-out convenience of the super centric location—smack dab right in the heart of Cagliari downtown, just a stone's throw away from all the fanciest restaurants and all the liveliest bars, pubs, and clubs!!! Last but not least, the unbeatable quality to price ratio! In one word: Top-notch!!!

A friend of mine and myself booked a twin room at this old monastery hostel. I am very easy going when it comes to accommodation so I was looking for a cheap place whilst visiting Sardegna for the short four days trip. We arrived with no expectations and I was so much pleasantly surprised how nice this place ended up to be - super nice friendly staff, clean spacious room including large bathroom and priceless central location! You get to be surrounded by endless amount of bars and restaurants. Within 5 minutes walk you get to reach the central station where you can take the bus to Poetto beach from. Love Sardegna, thank you and see you next time!
