It is a beautifully restored/converted series of interlinked spaces of impeccably sympathetic modern interior design. On the exterior it is difficult to distinguish the new from the old. It is situated immediately adjacent to the river that flows rapidly through the town, making a calming sound throughout the buildings when the windows are open, but which is totally noiseless in the bedroom with the window shut. A special mention to Donna, who acted as my receptionist, barister, restaurant recommender, breakfast provider, and information provider about the town!

Nothing. Except it would be nice if a couple of signposts to the front door of the hotel could be erected in the adjacent piazza. I had to ask a post-lady, but that was fine because she was extremely helpful too!

This hotel is ALL ABOUT THE RIVER !!! oh my god !! we didn't even care if we the room didn't have a bed, the view from the upper floor of the river and the sound of the water was absolutely a dream !!! Obviously we did have a bed :) but the view from the window is everything we paid for! Staff was nice and welcoming, breakfast was good, they make you your coffee personally as the coffee machine is in another room. it was quiet and private, wonderful breathtaking mountain view We loved the fact that you can take a short stroll next to the river it makes your whole day !!

Staff doesn't speak a word of english. better use a Google Translate if you're a foreigner. we liked the authenticity of the place though. NO WIFI in the upper floor. that was a bit of a shame but that's maybe because it is surrounded by mountains. The location was a bit meh, but we didn't mind because we were with a car There was no parking eventhough it says that the hotel had a free parking, I mean maybe it does but we had to look for one. Very difficult driving arround ! narrow streets and if you take a left turn you need to make all the way out across the town and then come back, you can't go back.. that being said, people there were friendly and kind, and once you park you can actually walk around by foot, it is quite small area

In the heart of this historic Campagna village in a beautiful mountainous area, the Hotel Maccarunera is a haven of silence. Sleeping while listening to the waterfalls is a priceless luxury. The spacious room, superb bed, balcony overlooking the river and mountains, refrigerator, heating, and superb service. A luxury for gourmets.

The rooms were excellent. Comfortable, a good size, with a balcony over the river. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful. A really different part of Italy to stay in.

Parking was off site but once we got used to it it was not a problem. Not the easiest place to find but the locals were all very helpful!

An exceptional place to stay, in a unique location and full of history. The room was very tidy and large with a big and comfortable bed.

It is quite difficult to find the entrance to the building. Very small window in the room, which made the room rather gloomy.

The location is absolutely awesome, you're right at the heart of town. The view from the room to the river is very romantic.

The restaurant was closed, but no big deal, there are other great places to eat nearby.

Location was very good. The staff were very helpful and kind. Adrianna and Mario in particular. Viva Campagna! Viva Dublino!

A light over the sink would have been nice.

Beautiful room in a stunning building right next to a scenic river. Super clean with very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast selection.

View of the waterfall was to die for!! Falling asleep to the thunder of the water was a dream.
