Check in staff were wonderful, very knowledgeable and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. We arrived a little early and we were given one room out of two which was fine, we were also given our bands so we could use the restaurant and facilities. The first restaurant we visited for lunch was by the pool, call Portafina, this was awful- food everywhere, on floor and counters, needed to wait 20 mins to get seated. I personally refused to eat the slop available but children did have chips, we left after 12 mins and did not visit there again. Pool area Very good- sunbeds always available and pool and toilets very clean Bar Great service- good strong drinks and plenty choice Rooms Clean and bright showers were not the best as no power Steak restaurant- very good food and service Thai restaurant- excellent food and service Sports bar- no outside area food okay Main buffet area- as you would expect in an AI place Pizza, pasta, burgers and salad Beach- rocky but plenty sunbeds, water sports depend on weather so we did not get a chance to try this out due to choppy sea Entertainment was okay, but was very late with the main show starting at 10pm.

A large hotel complex with lots of activities for both adults and children. Rooms are spacious and clean with plenty of storage and a mini fridge which is re-stocked daily. The pool areas can get very noisy, we found the designated sandy beach area quieter, it's cleaned of any pebbles/stones daily although the coastline itself is very pebbly. All the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. We booked a couples massage which was amazing, very relaxing. The buffet restaurant food is varied & has something for everyone. We had an amazing stay and would definitely return.

It can get very noisy near the pools, as a couple we would consider upgrading to the signature level for a quieter more relaxed stay if we returned.

Our favourite part about this hotel were the various food options and cuisines. Apart from the regular buffet restaurant, there were multiple A la Carte restaurants of different cuisines which were included in the all inclusive rate and just required a booking beforehand. The Thai restaurant was by far our favourite of the A la Cartes. The food at the regular buffet was excellent, especially the Italian food. Additionally, we loved the pools and especially the private beach and how accessible it was. The beach was right beside the pool and pool bar, such easy access and plenty of loungers and umbrellas for guests. The room was very modern and comfortable with all the amenity you could need. A little shop in the hotel too was very handy for your small every day essentials like snacks, toiletries and suncream. The property offers plenty of fun activities too both within the resort and outside.

The only downside to this hotel is the location. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday destination where you don’t have to leave the hotel then this is the perfect spot. However if you want to do some exploring or visit local towns, the nearest town is about 20 minutes away. However the hotel does offer regular shuttle buses to and from the different towns but this costs extra. There is a supermarket and pharmacy about 5 minutes drive away but you’ll need to get a taxi. However, if you’re willing to do a day/half day trip to the nearby towns like we did, it is doable.

The location is stunning. The whole resort is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Staff are extremely professional and very well trained and extremely helpful. Especially the crew in the extra time bar Salvo,Angelo, Giusi(fragolina), Giovanni L saverio, nunzio, and Gianlucca. I could not find any fault with this place. Selection of food available was excellent and considering the size of the place and the amount of staff it is extremely well organised. Would definitely recommend this place and will return again.

This is a true five star hotel -- staff are extremely friendly, helpful and communicative. Hotel is extremely well kept and clean, both inside and outside. Rooms are large and well equipped. Buffet restaurants were amazing - very large selection of foods. The all-inclusive selection is generous as well. The hotel has its own app that you can use to look up any information, as well as book a seat at a la carte restaurants. A lot of praise goes to maids -- they do their job extremely well. The hotel also has a large, free parking lot that you can use to park your rental.

A la carte restaurants seemed to be a bit of a disappointment. Food and service over there was not as good as you would expect. Luckily for us, the buffet restaurant was incredible and we always ate there after trying a la carte restaurants. If you do not have a car and you intend to visit other parts of Sicily, the location may not be ideal. You could book organized tours to Etna/Taormina or shuttle to Palermo and Cefalu. Also, this is not a very quiet place. It's a big hotel with a lot of guests with children. We did not mind the noise but some travelers may.

Food in general was good - ala carte restaurants were nicely decorated and staff always attentive. Main buffet restaurant was plentiful. Very clean resort - rooms beautiful and kept very clean. Lovely gardens/grounds.We had an amazing ‘grand terrace’ room - paid extra for it on arrival, as not happy with original suite - well worth it!

Wine served with meals - mean on the measures given, making you have to ask for a ‘top up’ more frequently than would be necessary if they had given you a reasonable measure in the first place. Not enough areas to sit inside when weather turns - we found ourselves stuck in the main reception area where a bar is located (if you could get a chair) but you would have people checking in and out at the same time - bit bizarre and I’m sure the reception staff sometimes found it hard to hear the customers.

The staff at this resort were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. I was impressed by how the staff were always smiling and greeting everyone that passes by. I made friends with a few, especially with Federica (the reception bar), such a sweet lady. Mentioning also Venera (room host), who went out of her way to help me. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. The food was delicious and presented well. Entertainment was great and the photographer was very friendly. It's definitely a memorable experience.

Since the room was at ground floor, there was quite a lot of noise coming from the kitchen, like you could hear plates, cups, etc. Next time I would try to reserve a room on an upper floor.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Buffet restaurants were really good, Pool areas were clean and relaxing, apart from the daily water aeoribcs with loud music right in your ear. Overall, it was a lovely hotel and good, drink and facilities but nothing to get to outside of the hotel without taxis, so felt a bit like a cruise ship.

A la carte restaurants weren't great, we tried the portofino - small selection of choices included in all inclusive, and the chang tai was pretty rubbish. Couldn't get in to the other one, even though we tried to book it the day we got there. Beach was crap. Very stoney so difficult to get in and out of the sea, and very small. Nicer by the pool

It was very clean, very smart and friendly staff, wherever they can see You, everyone said: hello, how are you, aspecialy Martina S., Chantoli and Elena at the common restaurant.

Very bad beginning, I arrived late by night with older parents after complicated operations, although I had sent aprovement of pay, reception staff couldn’t find my payment and we had to wait a lot of time. The Young gay in reception said that he would say about this problem to the manager, but noone said sorry. I was in many hotels at the Sicily - Acacia, Cefalù sea palace and I must admit that Grand Palladium is the biggest with a lot of people, what caused problems with the tables for breakfast or dinner…

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the majority of staff were friendly, with the exception of the stewards on the door of the buffet. There was a range of bars and the pools were very nice with plenty of spare sun beds, saving having to rush down and put a towel down! The grounds were beautiful and a range of activities to partake in.

The food was standard for what you would expect from a buffet. We tried to book the a la carte restaurants on three different days but unfortunately they were all booked leaving us to have to eat at the buffet. We stayed all inclusive and there was not a great range of cocktails to choose from. We stayed as a couple, and I thought I had read that there was an adults only area, but unfortunately was wrong. The hotel was extremely noisy at night due to the entertainment, although I don’t think this can be helped as the overall size was not huge.
