Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning, we were welcomed with warm hospitality by the front desk staff, which immediately made us feel comfortable. Upon arrival, we were greeted with refreshing and delicious welcome drinks, and we received all the information and guidance we needed for our stay. The room we received was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with a stunning view of the sea at sunset. This hotel provides everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The breakfast was excellent — one of the best we’ve had in hotels across Italy — offering a wide variety of tasty options to suit all tastes. Although the hotel is located slightly outside the city and away from the beach, this was more than compensated for by the convenient free shuttle service. The shuttle regularly runs between the hotel and the railway station, as well as to and from the beach, making it very easy to get around. Overall, we had a great experience and we definitely recommend this hotel to others. We ourselves will surely return in the future.

The vacation in La Bussola Hotel worths it on so many levels! First of all, it was our first trip to Italy, we had no experience and actually no idea what is the better option/region/place to stay. Everything we wanted a vacation near the sea, so a good beach was a priority, not far from some city, cleanliness and a good view. And fortunately we’ve chosen the La Bussola so got everything we wanted and even more. Yes, it was not on beach itself and not in the center of Tropea - that’s something we were worried about before coming here, but it wasn’t a problem at all, as it is still close to the seaside and it takes just a few minutes to get there by car, or especially with the transfer provided by the hotel, it is very convenient and easy, the bus is modern and the driver is very nice! The room was clean (big appreciation to the ladies in charge of that, they were extremely nice and did everything just perfectly, loved them!), if you pay for the room with sea view you’ll get a very beautiful sunsets every evening. The room has a fridge with few bottles of free water and actually everything you need for a basic stay - towels, soap and shower gel/shampoo, hairdryer and AC. Wi-Fi is very good, which is a rare thing for hotels) The area of the hotel is very nice! It’s well maintained, a lot of greenery, fruits, free access to the pool (which appeared to be also not a very common thing for other hotels) and free parking. The pool is just a piece of free paradise!) Also there is a restaurant with very delicious food, live music and perfect service! As we were concerned about our free time and activities it was very helpful, because you can go and have fun any time at evening , just down the stairs (but if you want some peace it is also not a problem, the sounds from the restaurant isn’t that loud and you can barely hear it from the rooms).

QR code only way to order food in the restaurant. I ordered both our meals at the same time. Mine arrived 15 minutes after my husbandand was cold. Sent it back. Waited a further 10 minutes before I had to get up and complain that I had sent it back and no one had bothered to come and see if I was ok. The lady I dealt with was very apologetic and said it was the problem with the QR code ordering was done as soon as it reached the kitchen. Not sure whats wrong with a menu . No dinner for me that night. Didn't eat in the restaurant again . However the breakfasts were lovely

Staff is amazingly professional from the first to the last contact. Very knowable, nice and willing to help. One can see that the training and systems are on point. But, above all, the people! All the details in the common areas are precious. Pool and lounge area are awesome. Safe and in the shade parking. Shuttles to the beach. Restaurant is modern and looks very good. Breakfast is good! I travel 8-10 times per year in Europe and this was probably one of the best services that I ever had.

The rooms aren’t as good as the rest but they perfectly serve the purpose.

We liked everything about the property. Excellent friendly staff, comfortable room with large terrace, pool and outside area. Lemon and loquat trees. Sweet little Jack Russel dog. Extensive breakfast choices. Handy for visiting the area and beaches by car as a long walk to anything locally. Be prepared for constant piped background music in the public areas. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay.

Maria and her team were amazing hosts. We were a big group (this was a family get-together) and they were always willing to help in any way they could - they definitely went the extra mile to accommodate our many varied requests, and always with a smile! The rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast is delicious and plentiful!! A perfect way to start the day. La Bussola is a couple of kms away from the beach but they willingly transported us back and forth as needed. We would definitely return! Thank you Maria and team for an absolutely wonderful stay!

Room is very small and even the bathroom, there’s no Space to put everything, The selection of food in the restaurant, is very limited, I think I only saw white pasta and pasta with tomato sauce and some linguine with seafood, the rest is more on sushi,

The price we paid for the facilities provided is absolutely value for money. The staff was extremely polite and friendly. They catered to our every request. We did not have a car, so they provided shuttle service to nearby locations and also to Ricadi train station.

Breakfast had a good selection for everybody’s taste.The location was the only down side a little bit isolated. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room has a back porch with an outstanding view. The room was good and good selection of breakfast. It was really good. It has ample locked parking space and good location.

The sushi restaurant located within the hotel waa closed due to family mourning. It would have been appreciated if we were advised before hand since we booked specifically at the hotel to dine at this place!
