We had a beautiful room with a large bathroom and a lovely view of the city and harbor. I can’t say enough about how we enjoyed the experience.

Carloforte is an old town with parking at the harbor and around the corner from the hotel near the primary school. I won’t say this is a downside to staying at the hotel as its beauty outweighed the lack of private parking (which few, if any, hotels on the island have.

Owners are art lovers dedicated to promoting local and international artists by hosting exhibitions in the lobby. Staff beyond helpful and kind. Beautiful old family home turned into the hotel with cutest little garden full of turtles freely roaming around. Overall experience way beyond my expectations and will be back very soon.

Highlights of the stay includes the beautiful views from the superior rooms, the community garden, and large window in the bathrooms overlooking the garden

Terrace cushions could be newer/nicer, both rooms could have a tea kettle rather than just one, and recycled shampoos from previous guests which were left dirty and refilled.

Historic ambiance, great balcony, decent breakfast, friendly reception staff, really clean room.

Too much scent on bed linen. Made our eyes burn. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but totally understandable given this is old town, just be ready to repark the car a few blocks away.

Carloforte is a beautiful serene town with streets to wander around and get lost in (in the romantic sense). Villa Pimpina has the same magic in the hotel, a beautiful serene place full of colours and makes you want to wander around as well. The garden is fantastic to spend your breakfast moments in, we had room 7 overlooking the garden and with sunny weather it’s adding to the magic. Small note, we were there in May (low season), so the serenity might be less in high season).

Nice artistic hotel, beautiful deco, lovely garden where you can have breakfast. The staff is very kind and the breakfast has sweet and savory options, and offered typical Sardinian food.

Our windows were on the side of the stairs to the garden, so people where passing in front. but we had curtains so they gave some privacy.

The room was superclean and smelled so nice! The staff was friendly and gave good recommendation for beaches to go and where to see the sunset with a cocktail (le dune at spiaggia la caletta)

A family owned hotel of charm and character situated in one of the cobbled streets slightly away from the centre of Calaforte so quiet but convenient. Room 2 was fantastic! Breakfast in the small garden with town views and the resident tortoises was memorable!
