Location was perfect, easy walk from ferry carrying 2 weeks of luggage with us. Staff was great but can't say enough good things about Gemma. She was amazing and helpful and friendly. My 83 year old father-in-law wanted to visit the land of his father and grandparents and I'm glad we made it happen. Sadly couldn't visit the cemetery inside but we got to the outside thanks to Gemma. Both Gemma and Giovana helped me with transportation as well. Breakfast was also very good. Recommended highly.

It did get loud in our room in the evening from people enjoying themselves. Did find walking on the floor of the room left a lot of dirt on feet or socks.

Amazing Staff- super nice and very positive energy, good recommendations what to visit, see, eat, drink. Perfect location, just steps away from ferry, bars, restaurants, old town. Pretty place with vibe and art. Maps available. Balconies with sea view. Good bar just next- Incudine Square - drinks and food.

Unfortunatelly rooms are not soundproof :( You can hear neighbours in a hall and rooms :( especially in a connected rooms (I was in one of them). I also have to mention about bed. I had 2 connected single beds, on them very thin mattress so there was space between them and I had to remove everything and sleep on one bed. It was just one night so this is not something which affects my recommendation but to improve.

The location is absolutely exquisite! Right at the seaside and the marina of Carloforte! The design and amenities are fantastic - very large double bed, even the sofa-bed was comfortable enough. Enormous bathroom with everything you need. The breakfast was also great - fresh fruits, great cheese and ham, freshly baked croissants and cakes. The staff speaks very good English and are really nice and helpful. They recommended a fantastic bistrot nearby with discount by the hotel for dinner with fresh local fish, traditional meals and the best tiramisu we ever tried in Sardinia.

This was the second time we stayed here and it is always with a great pleasure. We were so happy to return, two years ago we made friends with the staffs dog named Mirto, and we could not wait to see him again, he is so sweet. We like everything about Nicotel, the location is great, as it is literally across the street from the port where the fairy stops in the city center, so you have everything at hand. The whole interior of the hotel is amazing, and the rooms are nice and clean. I also like that they use natural product soaps for the rooms, the shower gel smells amazing. The breakfast was a blast, I have a food allergy and they make some cakes themselves, so they made them without lactose or gluten which was so thoughtful of them. There are many foods considered for people with food intolerances and allergies. All the staff is so pleasant, helpful and welcoming that it warms your heart. The hotel offers so many activities and the staff helps you organise your day, gives sugesstions of where to go, which beaches to visit etc. We have noticed a lot of upgrades in the hotel since our last stay, which only shows us that they are constantly thinking of improvements and how to make the guests even happier. You will definitely not regret visiting them! Thank you again for your hospitality and cuddles to Mirto, we will definitely be back!

The only thing we never like is leaving the hotel at the end of our stay.

This place is great. It was the 5th stop on our two week trip to Sardinia. The room was great, quiet, modern, very functional. The staff were super nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. The location is the best thing about the hotel. It is so central and convenient to everything. Highly recommend

We really did not have trouble parking, but it is worth a mention to help those who come with a rental car, as we did. There is free parking in the harbor, but it's a ways down from the hotel. it wasn't a problem for us at all since we like to walk a bit, but for those with mobility issues it might be more difficult. Also, the free lot tended to get full (with hawkers waiting for spaces) at busy times of the day. But since the main issue was having parking for overnight, we found that if you waited to late afternoon, you could easily find a place.

Nichotel On every one of my adventures there is one hotel/B and B that is outstanding. 12 days in Sardinia and this is the one! Lovely chatty welcome from reception staff and an excellent quiet room with a mini balcony. Although there was a bar around the corner the only noise was what you would expect was from the ferry. Wide choice for breakfast to suit all nationalities. I loved the filtered water machine with fresh lemons. Even in May so hot and welcome Excellent location. For history and natural world lovers you can walk around the perimeter of the once functioning salt pans and see the wildlife

Discovering I had paid €20 more than current advertised price! Worth checking before cancel deadline and rebooking. I booked months ago when normally its less rxpensive

The hotel is located very close to where the ferry lands and is ideal for walking around town. The staff are very friendly and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and things to see and do. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

I wish they would turn off the lights on the front of the building at night.

We LOVED the staff, Gemma, Magddelena and Perla were all superb ambassadors, nothng was too much trouble! The breakfasts were great, fresh coffee and the ability to make fresh juice was such a bonus, as was the free water.

Air con in the restaurant could have been better but that was a minor concern. Sometimes the housekeeping staff on the 4th floor were quite noisy when they started very early in the morning which was a shame as it wasn't very relaxing for the guests.

Very central location, parking was easy to find opposite the hotel by the marina. The room was a good size with a great shower and AC! The staff were very friendly and so helpful in finding us restaurant reservations and even calling a property we wanted to stay the following night in, in another location! The breakfast was very good, with eggs (!!), and we would definitely recommend the hotel to other travellers to Carloforte.

It was a little noisy at night even with the windows closed and the AC on due to the proximity to local bars.

Perfect location, sparklingly clean rooms, great breakfasts but the staff really made the whole holiday extra special. They were kind, attentive, knowledgeable and so very friendly. I lost my bag with my passport in it and they were super understanding helping me get it back! I wish all hotel staff were so invested in their guests well-being.
