We had a room with a sea view and the views from a balcony were breathtaking. Staff at the reception was a delight. Ernesto and Aldo were the ones we dealt most and lovely girl but I can't remember her name. Girls at the breakfast room were very nice. There's 2 swimming pools on the roof of the hotel and it was a delight to cool down in the summer heat. Overall I would highly recommend the hotel and if we will be back to this beautiful part of Italia, we definitely will stay in this hotel again.

Shower cabin was really small and it only had over head shower head, which I personally cannot stand, you need a shower cap if you don't want to wash your hair every time and if you want just refresh shower after short walk due to the heat, shower cap etc Some shelves in the bathroom to keep your hygiene products would always be a bonus for me.

The hotel was lovely, a historical gem that had been beautifully updated. Stylish rooms and bathrooms that were spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds and great aircon. Breakfast was a buffet spread with loads of options. The Genius upgrade to sea view rooms was much appreciated, there was a road outside with some traffic noise but that didn't really bother us even on 1st floor. The sea and Vesuvius views were lovely and we enjoyed the rooftop and pool, and location was great for the train to Pompeii, Naples and Sorrento. The nicest restaurants and trattorias seem to open from Wednesday onwards, be warned, but there are quite a few options on Monday/Tuesday and it's not a hardship to jump on the train to Sorrento. Castellammare felt like less of a resort and more of a seafront in an Italian town - we loved the local feel but it might not be to everyone's taste, not that the tourist bustle in Sorrento was any calmer!

The hotel could have been more comfortable for spending a lazy day on the rooftop - the pool and loungers were great but absolutely no shade outside and intermittent access to food and drink so we only spent a short time up there during the day. It was lovely at night but drinks seemed to be only available from the hotel bar on the ground floor.

The hotel is really beautiful and very well situated in the city. With easy access to the beach, restaurants and shops. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice, quiet and comfortable. I just wish they would have refill the fridge with water bottles during our stay, especially with these temperatures. The view from the restaurant and the rooftop is amazing. The 7th floor restaurant is delicious. Good to know: the pool is nice but small with only a few seats available and is only accessible through steep stairs.

A negative point would be on our arrival and departure when the two reception employees literally watched us (I was staying with my 70 years old mother and my 2 young kids) dragging our suitcases in the hallway through stairs and complicated entrance doors without offering any help. They also offered poor help when we asked for a way to get to Pompéi. They just told us to go to the station without telling us that there are two train stations close to the hotel with the same name. Of course, we went to the wrong one and with the confusion, we lost precious time and patience figuring this out by ourselves.

The staff were super attentative and polite everyone from reception to cleaners to restaurant and maitre de could not fault the staff. Location was perfect to travel to the islands or local beaches and around the coast. One boo boo on our part we decided to head to is his on a Sunday for 5 days sadly trains and ferries not great from the area on a Sunday so had to head back to Naples. Train station literally 10 min walk 👍 The rooftop pools and sun loungers were lovely as was the whole design of the at restaurant etc. we had dinner in the rooftop restaurant not only one of the best views over the sea and mount Vesuvius the meal and service were outstanding. Wholly recommend the restaurant for lunch and dinner The rooftop is the perfect place to watch the sunset 🥰. We would chose a room with a balcony next time to watch the never ending fireworks around the bay, If I came back to this area this is one hotel I would certainly return to 🙏 great job everyone

More shade on the rooftop if there is any wind you can’t put the umbrellas up so fighting for shade. The beach is huge I don’t understand why there was no sunbed hire or hotel sunbeds? We travelled to meta for a beach day 🤦‍♀️

The minute we arrived, our visit was fantastic. Staff had organised a room upgrade for an amazing view of Mount Vesuvius which was especially lovely as it was our daughter's birthday during the visit. The restaurant was gorgeous and food fantastic. The staff were so helpful with what to order as our Italian is sadly poor. View from the pool was incredible too. Breakfast had lots of nice options and staff helpful with dietary queries. Hotel has a deal with nearby garage if you hire a car which was helpful. Thanks to everyone.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is an 17th century building, modernized beautifully. The breakfast room has the most amazing view of the sea and of Vesuvius. The breakfast is more than adequate with eggs yogourt fresh fruit croissants pancakes, real Canadian maple syrup, desserts, coffee tea juices. Our reception by Gennaro was warm and welcoming and he was extremely helpful and patient with recommendations and directions. He made certain to greet us daily. He made our stay here extra special. Grazie Mille Gennaro! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Get the room with a view! The views and the room are gorgeous.

Hooks in the bathroom for towels needed. That’s it.

I love the central location easy to access the train to go to Pompeii or to Sorrento or the Amalfi coast for the day without paying those prices. Nice relaxed local, feel, excellent shopping and better deals than Naples and Rome for sure. Nice boardwalk to stroll after dinner for an ice cream. Good selection of delicious restaurants nearby. The hotel has a small but perfect pool to cool off in with amazing staff who take care of all your needs. You can order a nice Aperol spritz , or a lemon cello spritz and have lunch up there if you wish. It's a historical hotel that's been refurbished perfectly! Safe, clean and comfortable. Ernesto, JohnMarco and Annalisa as well as the rooftop people are all very helpful and friendly.

we loved everything could use a few more hooks in the bathroom to hang up your stuff otherwise perfect the beach which has nothing to do with the hotel and everything to do with the city. It is very upsetting and sad. We are from Canada where we take care of our oceans and environment. Many of the other tourists that I talk to agreed. I hope the city and province will do some thing to clean it up as it would be the biggest reason why I don't come back to visit this area.

Very clean, all the staff were very helpful nothing was to much trouble for them. Very friendly and very helpful.

The private parties on the terrace, it would be very beneficial if you were told about these parties before you booked the property. We had literally no sleep one night due to a wedding party on the terrace.

Hotel Stabia offers great value for the money. The beautiful pool and entertainment area are definite highlights, providing a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. However, if you're driving, be aware that parking from the hotel costs €15 per day, so make sure to factor that into your budget. Overall, it's a fantastic choice for a reasonably priced stay.

Everything !! From the excellent service to the great location . Just 8 min by feet from the train station and in front of the beach. I want to give a special thank you to Aldo , Valentino, Ernesto, Adriana and Gaetano - they really made my bday very special and unique. I really appreciated!!
