It is a beautiful, well-designed apartment. The cleaning was perfect, they changed the towels in every two days and the garbage in every day. Roberto was very kind, he collected some great suggetions to see nearby the apartment and sent me useful links for travelling. His mother baked desserts in every morning which was really tasty and diverse. (Of course there was some other opportunities also: granola, yoghurt, fruits or if you want continental breakfast instead of his mother’s desserts) I fully recommend this place to everyone, I think this apartment was one of the best or the best place I have ever been in my life.

The hosts were delightful. Roberto was very helpful, providing information on transportation from the airport as well as local restaurants and activities. The breakfast was magical - home-baked cakes by Roberto's mother served on a rooftop terrace with fresh coffee, cereal, etc. I found Castellemmare to be a lovely town (not touristy) from which to explore Pompeii (and you could easily visit Sorrento and other towns) We enjoyed the funicular to the top of a nearby mountain with stunning views of the coastline. There was a lovely promenade by the sea where you could watch the sunset and many nice restaurants.

Roberto and his lovely mom are doing an amazing work!!! Perfectly clean and comfortable!!! Spotless bathroom and great quality of mattress and pillows. They we’re changing towels and beddings every second day! Roberto booked a garage place for our car in the next street. Castellmare is a cosy place. Good as a base for going around and visiting Napoli, Pompeii and Amalfi coast by car and boats to Capri… there is a train station 5min walk… supermarket 50m. Many shops! Nice breakfast on the rooftop (traditional Italian breakfast with fruits, cakes, croissants, cereals… you could pay extra for continental breakfast)

There are 3 separate apartments on the floor. One of them has a nice street view. Unfortunately supermarket delivery trucks are making noise till 2am. It’s fine if you close the balcony door and turn on AC. The other 2 apartments have different view and they are quiet.

When we were coming to the accommodation, my wife just noted that she would be particularly pleased that we were placed in a room she saw in the pictures with a wonderful view - and we were lucky, we were in Pompei room, a room that has a beautiful balcony and watches on the street on which we parked our car every day. Roberto contacted us before arriving, and we agreed with him the time when we came to get us and solve with us all the administration and explained all the details. We especially liked his recommendations for restaurants - each was perfect. The room was deliciously decorated, clean and cozy, has a small fridge. Breakfast was served on the terrace, where Roberto and his mom served a typical sweet Italian breakfast (croissant, marmalade, yogurt, cake, fruit, cerial, coffee, ..). Roberto offered us an extra charge and a classic breakfast, but since we hadn't been to many days, we didn't need a change. Roberto is a very careful host, communicating great in English, unobtrusive and is ready to give advice/to chat with his guests. The building where there are three rooms that Roberto rents is in the perfect place- not far away by the sea promenade nor to harbor, and the parking is always found in the parking lot (Easypark app or prepare small coins). If you want to investigate Naples, Pompei, Amalfi coast or go to Capri - this is a perfect location!

Everything was perfect

The location was perfect, ideal if you want to be in the heart of everything while visiting the Amalfi Coast. The rooms were spotless and beautifully arranged. Having breakfast on the terrace was both relaxing and scenic. The hosts, Roberto and his mum, are truly exceptional, they go above and beyond not only to make your stay as comfortable as possible, but also to share helpful tips so you can make the most of every place you visit. 10/10!

Roberto and his Mum couldn't have been better hosts for our stay with them. The rooms were spotless and had everything you could want or need. We loved the location as it was very easy to get the train, bus or ferry to our sightseeing trips. Roberto was so helpful on giving us advice on how to get to places and even organised our airport transfers. Airport transfers can be done with public transport but we opted for a taxi as it was easier travelling as a family. Special mention to Roberto's mum for her wonderful baking that we thoroughly enjoyed.

From the moment I checked in with Roberto, everything was wonderful. The access was seamless, Roberto was always about and gave great advice. And the location was very central to the seafront and the train stations.

Nothing. It is in the centre of a working city, not touristic, but that is the charm of it. All Italians, not tourists. But train access to Naples, Pompeii, and Sorrento is easy and inexpensive

The room was very nice, clean and cosy with mini fridge and hairdryer, also AC was working well. Cute little balcony. The rooftop terrace was also nice and the breakfast was served there. Breakfast was a typical Italian one only including sweet things (not my thing). The staff were nice and welcoming, I got many tips for my day. The village has many restaurants, but not a beach of its own, but it's easy to reach some other beaches and Sorrento by train from there. The B&B has only a short walk from the railway station.

Breakfast should also include some bread and cheese (or anything salty) and maybe eggs too, or some fresh fruit. It was too sweet for me. Even the cappuccino was sweet.

Roberto’s place was the perfect vacation spot for anyone looking to get away from all the hustle and bustle of busier spots along the coast, while still being connected to them by train and boat. The B&B itself is clean, quite, and cool. Roberto and his family are most accommodating, and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and tranquil. We would recommend their place to anyone looking to stay in the south of Italy.

I love this accomodation! The room was fully clean and ready for us on time. The owner is very, very kind! He recommended us what to see, where to eat, where to park car, even provided some more info about other cities and help us with everything we asked. Our stay at this property was wonderful also because of delicious homemade cakes and service. On the top of all these perfect things is a beautiful view from the terrace. I would definitely highly recommend this property!
