The food & service at the hotel was excellent & lots of variety of food was offered at breakfast for vegetarians. I’ll enjoyed the beautiful views of the bay of Naples from my room , roof top garden & also beautiful mountain views from the dining room. The hotel location is good for the independent travellers to see the sights of Campania region & Italy because train is near by & train fare is cheap. It is easy to travel around if you don’t speak Italian because lots of people speak English. The hotel is easy to get round & was quiet during my stay.

I’ll was disappointed that the hotel shuttle service to the airport was not available for the hotel & would also liked a shuttle bus service to go to the beach. The walk to the beach was not pleasant with the traffic, fumes & cobbled pavement. I’ll would not recommend the walk to the beach for the elderly/disabled people. The hotel swimming pool is small & can be busy during peak times. The hotel wall in my room was thin because you can hear noises sometimes & would like more sightseeing tours available on the notice board.

The Hotel Congressi has been a favorite of ours for years, staff, location, food and comfort are all top notch. My husband has attended many academic conferences here over the years and has brought many student groups to stay as well. The unique location makes the Congressi good for local train travel north to Naples or south to Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. The rooms are clean and spacious and food is 1st class. Breakfasts are buffet style with multiple selections and the cappuccinos flow freely. We will continue to support this lovely hotel for years to come.

In early December the outdoor pool was closed for the season, as it should have been, lovely in summer.

From the time you arrive you are treated so well.. reception staff are friendly and professional, providing assistance on locations to visit and arranging taxi services. The cleaning teams are amazing, your rooms are well stocked with towels and toiletries. The restaurant team, Tomas the restaurant Manager and his team are wonderful. Food is amazing with a selection of starters, main and desserts. Hotel is close to Pompeii and the town comes to life over the weekend.

A guest laundry area would be a bonus, i.e washing machines and tumble dryers. There is laundry a few minutes walk in the town..

Beautiful well presented hotel , rooms were clean and cleaned everyday , we had a huge terrace with table , chairs and sun lounger with incredible views of the sea and mountains . It had a beautiful terrace with huge chairs and a bar , views again so beautiful The swimming pool area was clean and lots of loungers , a bar that did drinks and lovely paninis and pizza with terraces to eat and drink Breakfast had cereals , fruit , yoghurt, bread , hams & cheeses & pastrys

The parking was on a slope driveway but it wasn’t a problem , you could get in a lift to the main rd which saved walking down the drive when walking to town

The hotel's staff was amazing, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to remember your name and even observant to notice a birthday during our trip which they had seen on the passport. Always happy to have a conversation with you that never felt rushed, the food was amazing, always presented well and extremely tasty with generous portions. The location was very central from some of the main attractions and again the staff was happy to help with directions and maps and arranging transport if required. The pool was stunning with amazing views as was the roof top terrace with magnificent views of Mount Vesuvius. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

The bed was a little firm for my preference but may suit others, this however, would not stop me from returning

Amazing roof top views. Balcony view of mountains was also excellent. Lovely pool terrace. Breakfast had wide range of cakes! Recommend the cable car trip in Castelleamare. It was a good base to then access trains to Pompeii and Sorrento, (15-20 mins either way) there is also a ferry to Capri from the harbour.

It was up a hill, which gave it the views but was a challenge to walk to with bags in heat of summer, if you are coming in foot so would recommend taking taxi or transport from station.

Great breakfast in a spacious restaurant with many tables in the terrace. The employees were really nice, especially the ones in the restaurant. The price includes 3 courses dinner and it was more than enough. The rooms were really big with nice view. It is really nice decorated and we enjoyed, especially the pool. I recommend the roof garden from where you can enjoy a splendid view of Vesuvius mountain and the Naples bay.

The bathroom cabinet is really small and need to be replaced.

Excellent room, facilities were good and the restaurant food was excellent and very good value. Secure parking and really nice pool. Excellent roof terrace with great views. Manager of the hotel helped us find a lost key which was fantastic, although the receptionist was not as helpful.

Staff a bit hit and miss. Restaurant staff were lovely and helpful, those at the pool not so much. Also, don’t ask for a taxi to the Pompeii, we did and although the metre said 30 euros, the driver charged 40 euros for a ten minute journey. Not so much the hotels fault (although it doesn’t look good on them that they use that particular taxi firm) but more a warning to others. Location is not great but train station is close for Naples and Pompeii.

It’s a beautiful hotel, the room was confortable and we had clean to weeks every day. Breakfast was ok.

The water! Why not give bottled water for dinner at least. The orange juice in the morning ti me is important, fresh orange juice not condensed sparkling stuff

All the staff were friendly and polite, the rooms were a good size and clean, the food was nice, and the pool was a good size. The rooftop bar had some lovely views and the pool area is perfect for getting a tan. A ten minute walk and you are into the main town which has a train that runs to Sorrento in about 25minutes.
