Great place, great base to visit around, we rented a cat and visited from here Matera, another day Alberlobello, Martina Franca and Locoronto and the third day Monopoli and polignano. Every evening you can go out to Putignano old town, it is 10 minutes away. The trulli is cosy, well equiped and offers breakfast at a nearby caffe. The owners are great hosts, fresh fruits every day, it is a lovely secret garden, lots af green in the middle of the town.

I understand why it is called 'secret garden', in the middle of some taller 'ugly' apartment buildings this little house in the garden of the owners house truly feels like a little secret. The house was really clean, a lot larger than we expected, the bed and shower were great. The breakfast provided plus the voucher to have breakfast at an affiliated cafe nearby were both perfect and the best we had in our 10 day holiday. Free parking spot behind the private gate was also ideal and communication with the owner was smooth and clear.

The train runs right past the house which you can hear clearly during the day. We didn't hear it at night so either it doesn't run during the night or the sound didn't wake us.

Very lovely hosts who went out of their way to provide a pleasant stay. Spacious interior, in this unique trullo Breakfast was provided or there was a ticket to go to the local coffee shop. We would definitely return!

Bed may have been small for some guests.

Gorgeous accommodation with everything we needed, beautiful fresh baked pies were super appreciated too! Also a great shower :) the hosts were so sweet and kind!

It’s by the train line so a little bit noisy at times but other than that it was perfect!!

Very nice place! The hosts are very kind. The location is very good for visiting all the interesting places in this area.

The railway is closer than I expected and you can hear the train in early the morning.

The landlord are nice and the room full of charm and comfortable.

Nothing, everything absolutely perfect

Beautiful trullo, kind hosts. It's very clean, walking distance to town and we were treated to fresh cherries from the garden and a fresh baked pie.

Breakfast was delicious, the patio was beautiful, and the hosts were fantastic. The friendly hosts made us feel like we were at home. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.

Figero the cat was hard to approach until we were able to pet him.

Loved our stay at Giardino Segreto. Facilities were great, owners were lovely, breakfast was light but delicious. Not far to walk into town and train station.
