Beautiful room in the charming old town of Castellaneta. The host was there to meet me when I arrived and even drove me back to the station when I left. The room was large and elegant and fitted out to a high standard with a comfortable bed, good large shower etc. Everything was spotless. Breakfast in the bar over the road was simple but good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The B&B is located close to Castellaneta's main attractions, including the stunning canyons.

One very small suggestion - a kettle and tea/coffee in the room would have been the cherry on the cake.

The room was .nice and quiet. The host very helpful I wish I could speak some italy but with English and Handy translation we can get the info that we needed

Wenn we booked the location we expected the parking is next to the building but the parking was abbot 500 m away on a public street.

Breakfast was fine, it was a coffee and a croissant, location was in the bar opposite, lady who worked there was very friendly and it was lovely to sit out in the sun to start the day.

My key also opened the room next door which isn't great. but this did not ruin my stay and if I was ever to go back to Castellaneta I would definitely stay here

Great room in a unique location! Check in communication was fast, clear and thorough. We had no problems! Room was clean and had great wifi. We recommend this property!

Steep narrow stairs with low ceiling would be a challenge for some, but we were fine.

Italian authenticity with modern conveniences with an old world feel

The room was pleasant and was cleaned regularly. Nicely decorated, comfortable and with smart private bathroom. The B&B is located in a lovely part of the old town. It's a fairly short walk to the new town where all the restaurants, pizzerie, shops etc are.

To clarify the description on Booking.com: B&B Sedilequattro consists of two upstairs rooms entered from a street in Castellaneta Old Town. There's no balcony, restaurant, fitness room or tour desk, and I saw no sign of luggage storage or facilities for cycling or fitness. The B&B gives guests tokens for breakfast in the friendly Bar Piccio opposite (which in practice means coffee and a cornetto), and for other meals guests need to find restaurants in town. A kettle was provided but I would have liked a china cup rather than paper and some coffee as well as tea bags. On initial arrival, I needed to phone the owner to obtain the keysafe code to get the keys (phone number and keysafe are at the B&B's front door - guests need to make sure they are able to make Italian phone calls). Despite the exaggerated description, the B&B met my needs and I spent a comfortable week there.

worst stay ever. we booked the room with balcony and got the one without. AC was not working. and the worst part: It was so freakin loud in this room that you heard EVERY single word of the neighbors room and you hear everything in this house. we didn’t sleep a minute :(
