We loved our stay at Ticho’s very much. The hotel is beautiful and kept very clean and the staff is so welcoming, kind and always ready to help out with whatever you need. The pool is nice and is also kept very clean. A great plus is the beach across the hotel and the beds you get appointed during your stay. Many thanks to the hotel manager en Fabrizia for helping us out when we got stranded on our first day and also thanks to Grazia and her team at the restaurant for taking care of us so well. If It’s Not 5 Stars, It’s Definitely 4+ with a Sea Breeze! Let’s be honest—Ticho’s Greenblu Hotel in Lungomare Eros del Mare, 174 may officially wear four stars, but in terms of charm, service, and sheer Italian magic, it’s sparkling like five on a summer night. From the moment we arrived, and we stayed there twice, the staff welcomed us like long-lost friends (the kind you actually want to see again). Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind—they made everything feel effortless, and that’s no small feat when you’re juggling sunhats, sunscreen, and a need for espresso every two hours. The food? Bellissimo! The kind of Italian cuisine that makes you wonder why you ever tried cooking pasta at home. Every dish was full of heart and flavor, and there’s a certain joy in eating with the sea air drifting in from your balcony. Now, about the TV… yes, the channels were all in Italian. But let’s be real—who comes to the Mediterranean coast in July to watch TV? If you’re indoors long enough to notice, you’re doing something wrong. My advice? Go. Book a room with a sea view, order something you can’t pronounce from the menu, and let yourself melt into the slow rhythm of Italian summer. We enjoyed this beautiful hotel right across the street from the beach. We could sit on our private balcony look out at the horizon and watch the light change on the water. The staff were very helpful and we also enjoyed sitting on the patio with our Campari Spritz and some Taralli snacks.

Traveling from another country where beach towns stay open year round we were not aware that we were a week before the season opened. This meant that the hotel's beach amenities and pool were not available and that there were few places to eat open. Perhaps a note on the webpage letting travelers know ahead of time would be nice. We still had a great time visiting the area and walking along the beach.

Perrfect location on the beautiful sandy beach, easily accessible from the hotel. Lots of entertainment (animation programs), especially enjoyed the piano night with famous classic Italian songs. 5 course gourmet dinner serving local dishes was a really good deal, it was worth booking together with the room.

Nice location at the beach. Beach chairs available, probably for costs (we didn't use them). If you can, book half board as it only was 18 euro extra for two persons. Food was OK.

We booked a room with breakfast only. I wanted to upgrade my booking to half board. This could not be done. Reason mentioned was because I booked via booking.com! Additional costs for half board was 18 euro (9 euro for dinner per person). They told me I now had to pay 60 euro extra for dinner. As it was not clear to me what the 42 extra euro's were that I had to pay, I refused. The price then went to 20 euro per person. Which I finally agreed upon, but why these difficulties?

The staff was really friendly and having the beach right across the street is a big bonus. Rooms are spacious and clean. Both for our breakfast and dinner buffets there were always plenty of options. Having the children disco in the evening was lots of fun for the small kids. Also the sand beach is very child friendly.

Ticho's is a typical Italian seaside hotel, not for everyone, but if this is what you want , as we did, it is an excellent choice. Good air-conditioning, good plumbing, good shower pressure, good supply of hot water. Breakfast was typical of Italy, Good variety, including hot freshly made food, good coffee.
