Loved Hotel San Valier. This was actually my 2nd visit to the hotel and both times have been as part of a motorcycle touring trip. I paid up for a superior room and was glad i had - the superior rooms are all recently refurbished and are really very pleasant places to stay. In addition, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, the breakfast was fabulous and i felt safe parking my motorcycle. It was a short and pleasant walk into the main town to find a great selection of surprisingly good value restaurants. really enjoyed our stay at this location.

We had a wonderful stay over New Year in Hotel San Valier. The hotel has a real welcoming feel with autenticity left even though renovated recently. The spa area was modern and clean. We had a half board and New Year Eve dinner and the food was good quality. We have a special diet (gluten-free) and the kitchen accomodated that really well.

The common spaces on the ground floor are outdated. Same breakfast every morning, without vegetables. Very bad hairdryer in the room.

nice location - just outside the centre of the town room was comfy with a nice balcony. outside the hotel was very modern - loved the casual seating area at the front. Plenty of room to park my motorcycle and it felt safe to leave it there.

I think floors 1 and 2 have been modernised - and while i paid for a basic room, which was fine, i would pay up for the modernised area of the hotel if i were to return.

We chose the room in the most reconstructed part of the hotel and we were really satisfied. What I appreciate the most about the hotel is its staff. Both, the waitress and receptionist were extremely welcoming, friendly, and always helpful. We would definitely recommend staying in this hotel – the distance to the city centre and ski areal is very convenient.

I am celiac and although I warned the hotel that I could not eat gluten the choice of breakfast was very poor. It is not fair towards an intolerant person. The gluten free choices must be on a par with other customers.

Worst dinners I have ever seen (poor selection, weak quality), nobody speaks German and English also limited.
