The best thing about Villa al Sole is the excellent spa in the basement (sauna, steam room, ice machine, showers). It was lovely to relax there after a day's walking or cycling. The apartment itself was fine. Well equipped, everything seems like new and works perfectly, nicely designed. Claudia who manages the property answers queries very quickly and she made sure that we had everything we needed for a great holiday. The location is convenient for shops and restaurants, only a few minutes walk away. Corvara is a nice town to stay in. It has an Austrian alpine character, everything in the town looks nicely designed and well-maintained. Restaurants are fine, not over-priced. However, Corvara wouldn't be a good choice for a holiday on a tight budget.

The only small disadvantage is a lack of outdoor space, such as a garden or a balcony with a view. But we felt that having the excellent spa was such a big plus point that it outweighs any lack of outdoor space.

The apartment was on the ground floor, but bright and spacious enough for a family of three. The entire place is beautifully appointed: excellent modern bath, fully-equipped kitchen, and even laundry facilities in the basement of the property. The entire place is beautiful and the location couldn't be better, within walking distance of three lifts. Claudia was a wonderful host, always available and gracious. We can't wait to return.

Everything about the Villa is wonderful, but if I had to recommend one change it would be to install black-out curtains in the bedroom. We went in summer and the sun rises at 5 a.m. and comes right through the fabric curtains -- good thing I always travel with an eye mask!

The location is ideal. It's ski in - ski out and a short walk to all we could need in Corvara... restaurants, ski rental and grocery store.

We typically finished skiing early and it would be nice to be able to access the spa earlier. It opened at 4pm and there was a bit of a rush by residents to visit it before dinner. Opening at 2pm or 3pm may help.

Beautiful and clean apartment building. We were surprised to have the option of cleaners visit each day to refresh our room and even more surprised by the very lovely spa and gym in the basement.

Just a couple of small things. We were expecting there to be an oven in the kitchen. Also the kettle was quite dangerous as it didn’t turn off when boiled!

Good location: very close to skilift, you could just walk some 4 meters with your skis to the nearby ski-slope which brings you (after some 40 meters of skiing?) to the nearest skilift - very convenient. Also great: the Residence has a private spa; a steam-bath, sauna, gold spray shower and cold (fresh made) ice’cubes’, plus some nice relaxing chairs/chaise longues. You can make a reservation with Claudia and the whole spa is ours for half an hour or an hour! Great service provided by Claudia!!! She’s very friendly, service oriented and responsive. Breakfast: great!!! the Residence has no breakfast room itself but has an arrangement with bar/cafe L’Got (a 5 minute walk from the residence). L’Got is great and Andrea is great as well! Our breakfast was turner into a small party every day! Andrea: thanks so much for your great service, eye for detail, happy atmosphere and all the delicious items you served us!!

(there’s a bar/semi-disco’ opposite the Residence and they cause some noise but they stop every evening around 21:00)

The property is in a fantastic position, ski in, ski out. All very clean and modern with comfortable beds and pillows. Also a very good sauna, steam room and gym. Claudia answered all our requests and it exceeded our expectations.

Poor Weather condition. This was my second time in Alta Badia snd both times we had foggy and cloudy weather. We had sun for an hour and half only in a week time

The apartment had no individual thermostats. They became uncomfortably warm at night and sleeping was at times difficult.

Whole property is beautifully decorated. Our room had everything we could need. We loved the spa facilities and how close it was to the slopes. Claudia was a fantastic host and answered all messages quickly and kindly

The location was perfect for both the summer and winter. In addition the spa was an extra plus & I would suggest the covid rules meaning you need to book your slot was a huge plus and should be kept long term. We thoroughly enjoyed having the privacy - much more relaxing. Parking was very easy as was getting around - we didn't use the car the entire time we were there - 1 full week.

Nothing comes to mind. The room we had was a bit dark as it was the ground floor - but this came as a plus for sleeping in. The other rooms all look like they are bright with nice balconies.
