My stay at Garni la Vara was truly exceptional, and I’m incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with care and attention. Roberto, the host, was especially helpful—he made the late self check-in process seamless and stress-free, which meant a lot after a long day of travel. What really stood out was his kindness and thoughtfulness throughout our stay. When the weather didn’t cooperate with our original trekking plans, Roberto went out of his way to check the forecast for us and recommended some beautiful alternative places to visit. Thanks to his suggestions, we were able to enjoy our time fully and discover hidden gems we might never have found on our own. His warm hospitality made all the difference, and I feel truly thankful for his support and guidance. Garni la Vara is not just a place to stay—it’s a welcoming home that I would happily recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable visit.

Everything was simply amazing.

As for the hotel superb very kind and helpfull owners. Also this was one of the cleanest hotels I've been to. Room was very spacious. Hotel is located at the very center of Corvara but not on the main street so it is quiet and peaceful. If travelling to Corvara, I highly recommend La Vara. As for the town itself, a true hikers paradise, close to everything you should see in Dolomiti, and this is my 3rd trip to Dolomiti.

Everything was great. The host is awesome, he really cares about the guests. We were able to store and charge e-bikes in the garage (thank you🙏🏻). The breakfast was very good, all you need to start the day, the hospitality is wonderful. The room was perfectly clean. Location is awesome. We really loved our stay in this hotel and definitely will come back. Thanks Roberto for everything!

The atmosphere was incredible, great location to do star-trips from. Roberto was pleasant, and always helped and recommended on amazing hikes around Alta Badia. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, especially the home-made Yogurt and Robertos’ scrambled eggs. 10/10

Roberto (the owner/host) is superb host. The best. He gave us great suggestions for hikes, made delicious scrambled eggs in the morning, was very helpful in every way. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The location is VERY convenient to many things. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A gem of a small hotel. Roberto, the owner, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, the room was spacious, and spotless and had the best view of the Dolomites, which we could enjoy from the terrace outside our room. Both my husband and I loved it. If we went back to Corvara, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

Nice, spacious and spotless clean room with lots of storage. Delicious breakfast with perfectly cooked eggs. Home made cakes. Roberto is a real gem! Very friendly and always available. Good location, few minutes from ski lifts. One of the best accommodations we’ve had so far. Highly reccommend!!

Everything was perfect!

A wonderful experience in a great location. Alberto was an exceptional host . He helped us plan our hikes every morning. The homemade yogurt and the scrambled eggs were a great breakfast and start to each day.

Stayed here for a short bike holiday. The location is superb, also good breakfast is nice. In the centre of Corvara, you have many options for dinner. The room was a bit on the small side and without the balcony, but we were cycling all day so no bother to us.

Good position, good domestic food. Our host Roberto was extremely hospitable. He made us free cards for the bus that drive to the surrounding areas, as well he gave us suggestions for hiking. We would definitely come back to this place.
